Lovely poolside staff, unusable sofa bed

Villa was great size-wise for accommodating myself, my parents, and my kids. Appreciated having the kitchen for quick meals/snacks. Arts and crafts/play staff were wonderful. Sofa bed was awful - they seemed not at all surprised when I requested extra blankets for cushioning; we made it work by adding chair and pillow cushions under the sheet but would suggest bringing an air mattress if you can.

Poor Service

Very disappointed for the price. I asked when I booked for an early check in, and was told to come by when I got to town and while not guaranteed they would see what they could do. I showed up at 12:30 asking to check in early and they said they would put a note into housekeeping that I was there and waiting and would call me when the room was ready. I never got a phone call from them and finally went back at 4:30. I was told a room number and that was not the correct room number. Just a very disappointing stay for the money I paid.

Customer Service+, Court Reservations-

Worked well for my visit. Worked well for our needs, worked during week and had place for family to enjoy during that time. Courts for tennis and pickleball are reserved and we couldn't get on to play because people agreements with the facility were using it for lessons or group play so make sure to check in advance. Customer service was great otherwise. Had a microwave so working and a rep came to check on it very quickly, that kind of responsiveness is great.

Perfect location and enjoyable resort

Would stay here again, no questions asked. Beautiful grounds with great amenities. Pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. I spend a lot of time looking for resorts in the area and am glad we picked this one.

Very nice resort stay

Really nice place to stay... and we really were to bisy to use many of the offerings!. Great 1 bedroom unit with sitting area. Hot tub was great. Had a minor repair needed ... taken care of immediately. Would look to stay there again! Also enjoyed just walking around the property trail!

The accommodations were great. Spacious and clean. The heat in our unit did not work and it took too long to figure out how to solve that problem but it was solved by moving us into another lower tier unit with no compensation offered beyond a free fire log. The staff were courteous and kind and most of them were very responsive. The pool area and restaurant were clean. The rooms do not come with coffee filters or any basic condiments like salt and pepper. The market sold salt and pepper but did not sell other basic items like milk/cream, coffee filters and there's no grocery store in walking distance so a few more basic essentials in the market would be nice. Overall, spacious, clean accommodations for the price in walking distance to Cholla trailhead on Camelback Mountain.

This is a timeshare resort, but we did not stay as "owners", just guests. This is an aged resort, pool area is cramped and limited lounge seating. The kids pool was closed, so they were all in the adult pool. The refrigerator was not working in the unit, and we were not believed at first. The unit was replaced, not offered any compensation for the week's worth of groceries we had to throw out. The maintenance staff was lovely, the Splash serving staff seemed a bit out of it at times. The daily resort fee seems excessive for what it is. We were under the impression it was included in the initial extensive "fees" section of the bill, and were surprised to find another balance due upon check-out. Overall, I hope this timeshare treats its "owners" better than the "guests."

Scottsdale Camelback - cozy, clean & close

Wonderful townhome style hotel at the base of Camelback Mountain. Quiet grounds. Super clean rooms - ours had a bed, kitchenette & big sofa downstairs & a bonus loft with a bed upstairs. Had a throwback 80s resort feel in a GOOD WAY. Pleasant staff & the ability to grab a bite or drink at a little poolside spot until 8pm. We didn't use the pool but there was a fireplace & great seating. Bonus - free parking! Great value for the price & VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION. Lyft to Old Town or the Phoenician cost $5-7 each way. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for folks on a work trip or on a budget wanting a nice cocoon resort feel.
