Very good in some aspects even though the room was not ready at time of arrival.. Food needs to be of different variety . Staff was friendly. Entertainment needs variation with visitors input, much like a talent show where guests and staff participate. Special commendation to Kiandra,Chloe and Donnage at front desk. Kiandra was exceptionally helpful. To our housekeeper Olivia who provided exceptional service, to Mahalia in the dining room I say thanks for the service you provided , to Danny our tour bus driver I say you are the best. You were so hilarious and knowledgeable, so entertaining, courteous and helpful. He ensured all were comfortable. And to Tari who ensured that we were provided the information we needed , very courteous ,informative and knowledgeable, thanks. You are an asset.

We'll return because of the staff and the spa!

Every single staff member we encountered was nice and easy to talk to. This is unusual. Staff members readily made eye contact and smiled. We had daily chit chat with our room attendant. The other outstanding feature was the Spa. We had two full body and reflexology massages and they were the best ever. The masseuses' were highly skilled. The food at the specialty restaurants was very good, but everything else was just average. The Harmony dinner was great, but the other celebration events had the same tired menu that was not very good.

Great family holiday

It was a family trip with grandkids from 3-16. Everyone had a great time and we are planning to go back. Great facility for all ages. Lots of things to do for the kids. Best thing was the food and the ability to get beach/pool chairs anytime. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Would recommend it without hesitation

An amazing stay in paradise!

Most amazing honeymoon in a beautiful resort on an incredible island. Everybody from front desk, housekeeping, bartenders, servers, entertainment staff, spa attendants, and groundskeepers were all so attentive to details and made us feel welcome every single day! Food was great in all of the restaurants! Pools were amazing! Activities were fun!!! Something for everybody!!! Can’t wait to come back here again some day and bring friends with us!

Beautiful

Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa is an amazing facility. Its beautiful and the took such great care of us after a very rough start. We booked through Hotels.com as I always do but I would either not book through here or I would call the hotel directly to make sure your exact reservation is on file with them. We arrived to no room at all eventhough it was confirmed by hotels.com and the app even showed that we were checking in. It took us an extended time at the airport because we were not on the list. I had the app and a printed confirmation but we were not on the hotel list. When we got to the hotel they had to help us call hotel.com and we were given a room but it was not what we booked and we were given a refund. Though it started out horrible and I might have had a panic attack during it, Coconut bay took the best care of us and we would definately go back.

This resort is very family friendly and they have plenty of areas if your want private quite time. Every single staff member was very friendly and accommodating. Very close to the Airport and wonderful easy transfers included. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Especially liked Flip Flop cafe and Jerk Hut for lunch. Poolside theme nights were fun.

Within minutes of landing we were chatting with Tari at Coconut Bay’s airport pickup desk. He labelled our bags and the next time we saw them was in our bedroom! On arrival at the hotel 5 minutes later (yes, really, but do not let that put you off - we enjoyed watching the occasional plane take off over the ocean and it was never a disturbance) we were welcomed with drinks and cold towels, efficiently checked in and directed to our room. The room was spacious, clean and more than comfortable enough for 2 grown up kids and my wife and I. We stayed in the Splash side but didn’t see much difference between that and Harmony except that we were closer to the lazy river and the end of the beach that we preferred, so it suited us fine. A noisy family showed up on our penultimate night and we could hear them through the adjoining door (locked obviously!) so next time we’d probably opt for Harmony where there’s less likelihood of noise (had there been a crying baby next door, we’d have known about it!). The food is great with lots of choice. We went to the Caribbean and Italian restaurants (once each) and whilst it was nice to have table service, the food wasn’t discernibly better. We have dairy, egg and nut allergies in our family and these were excellently catered for. (Shout out to Shekina, Brad, Dana and Miss Emee!) All in all a fantastic holiday. We’ll be back!
