Receptionist super friendly on check in Room tired & handle on bathroom door literally hanging off ….. the final screw popped out & onto the floor when I first entered the bathroom Mentioned on the 1st night, but unfortunately nothing done about it, so used my tweezers to screw some new tiny screws in, so as not to get stuck in the bathroom during my 4 night stay. The overriding reason, for me, for the low stars, is the sheer level of noise. When in my room, I could hear incredibly noisy happenings in the corridor & could hear every word from the room next door too. I’m usually an incredibly deep sleeper, but this hotel had me waking every half hour ….. felt delirious for the whole week Unfortunately would not stay here again

O Hotel tem história, mas fiquei hospedada em outra ala. No dia em que cheguei me colocaram num quarto para deficiente. Mas ali havia agua quente no chuveiro. Disseram estão para eu mudar de quarto, mas no outro não havia agua quente no chuveiro. O ponto positivo foi a proximidade à warner bros.

Lisa, I think that is her name( the manager) was very helpful and kind. We stayed in the Admiral suite which was very large and comfortable. Shame we couldnt stream smart TV on TV in bedroom but not a huge issue.

My first night was disappointing as there was lots of door slamming noise through the night. However, the manager called me to apologise and put me into a lovely quiet room for my second night. thank you (Maybe you could consider amending the door closures so they don't loudly slam? or put up notices asking guests to close the doors carefully)

Keep expectations in check
On arrival it was very disappointing to be checking into a reception area that was not the beautiful space shown in the hotel’s pictures. You could see stains on ceiling where water ingress. This had a very negative effect and didn’t set a good mood for the stay, the shear disappointment. The double bed room had the adequate amenities and was very clean. The bathroom was the best part with a great shower, however, the glass shelf had clearly been broken previously and was removed but not replaced. Thus no where to place toiletries. The noise in the room was the biggest issue. I and my wife could clearly hear both sides of the next door telephone conversation, door slam is loud and the floors allow every footstep with 20 meters to be heard. Breakfast was very decent for the price. The Manor and garden itself are beautiful and when a wedding or event is not happening, absolutely a lovely place to spend time. The staff were the next best part. Very friendly and genuinely cared.

Good for Harry Potter
Hotel is a great location for trips to Harry Potter, this was the reason of our trip, when booking just ask the hotel if any party's booked because if your in the Botham suite or any rooms towards the rear of the mansion house expect to be up late with music and general noise as the party marquee is located to the rear on the patio, which is not ideal if you have little ones. Drinks are mega expensive, food is fairly ok on price.

Lovely stay
The hotel is set in lovely surroundings and not far from Harry Potter studios which is why we chose this hotel. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. There are some nice places to drink and eat nearby.

Great all rounder
This is my second stay at this hotel, it’s within a short distance of Warner Bros studios which was the reason we chose to stay the first time. We came back again a second time because of all of the available amenities, such as pool, on site restaurant and bar. The staff are lovely and rooms clean and tidy.
