Great rustic cabin, very peaceful, and friendly staff.

Our cabin was perfect. So clean and comfortable, had everything we needed.

The experience staying in a chalet surrounded by trees in a somewhat remote place is very relaxing and calming. The quaint nature of the stay is what I love the most. This is lodging back to basics but with awesome nature feels!
Roel, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Very clean, big refrigerator, very convenient location.

This was a great place to stay. The chalets were nice, and the area had wildflowers in the meadows and was forested. They are close to several lakes and trails. Great stay. Will be back.
Vicki, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The Chalet was soo cute. Definitely needs more blankets and towels. I noticed there was old garbage bag on the back porch from the previous guests, but overall very nice stay.
Samantha, 2-night trip

Just ok for us

Just ok for us. just need a bed for quick night of sleep, the bed was not super comfy and the room eas pricey.
Brenda, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Super easy check in and out, friendly staff. Our unit could have been cleaner and needed some maintenance. Several light fixtures had no on/off;, had to plug and unplug from electrical outlet; tub/shower drain needed cleaned so drained poorly.
Debbie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This was a nice, big cabin, could have slept 5+ people. Full kitchen. Bed was pretty comfy. The toilet ran off and on which was annoying, and overall it was in decent repair. Not luxury but that's not what I was going for. If in this area I would stay again, but it's not very close to activities that I'm into, so not sure I'll be back.
Barbara, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Don't even consider this place.

This was such a nasty place that we checked out early. Mouse droppings, dirty blankets etc.
Barbara, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

This was a good place for the night traveling with kids. We only stayed 1 night. There was plenty of room and beds for everyone, and a full kitchen. The younger kids loved the loft and we loved being in the woods in our own cabin. The only downside was the bed in the bedroom was hard and the carpet had a slight dirty smell. Some air conditioning would be awesome in these little cabins. We just opened the windows while we slept. This was a fun change to the normal hotel experience.
Timothy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The toilet and sink are so old, there are grime mark on them. The couch is not clean.
Wonyoung, 2-night trip

Wonderful location and staff. Clean and not far from our destination- Crater Lake.
Ellen, 1-night trip

Nice cabin and kitchen
Daniel, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This is a great spot. We stayed in a cabin to accommodate our entire family and it was well worth it. Whether you are there to enjoy the local lake fishing or adventures in crater lake (70 min away), it’s a nice spot. Staff was wonderful.
Antonio, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice little cabin in the middle of the forest.
Jeffrey, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The chalet was spacious and offered comfortable furnishings. However, the unit was not clean. There was dog kibble, hair, and pieces of garbage on the carpet and linoleum. Counters and surfaces were wiped down, but the floors and bedding were not cleaned. Glad we had sleeping bags and pillows with us.
Sabrina, 1-night trip

If you are looking for a rustic get away, you will be just fine.

Staff are sweet. Been here multiple times. We prefer the chalets. Decent value for what you get.

The somewhat rustic, mountaineer decor in the room was well matched. The desk worker was kind and helpful.

This motel is dirty and was practically deserted when we stayed there. We were nervous using the laundry room on our road trip because the woman at the front desk told us they had had problems in the past with people who aren’t patrons of the hotel using the room so they have a sign saying it is locked at night though it isn’t. The floor all over our cabin was super dirty with debris everywhere and the pillows were dirty and my head was itchy laying on them (not something I typically experience). The bed was crappy and squeaky. I couldn’t wait to get out of there in the morning and would never stay there again. Right up the road is a lakefront hotel called Odell’s that we found for dinner and it looked much more well run and around the same price point. I would definitely stay there next time I’m passing through. I’d stay far away from this place.
Traci, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was avery pleasant place to stay! Us midwesterners were thrown off by no AC, but we survived!!😊 The staff were very kind and helpful. The area needs more places for breakfast and meals.
Debbie, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The hotel I booked was supposed to be a non-smoking room, yet it reeked of cigarette smoke. There was trash left outside the hotel, and cigarette butts. The towels were like rags, and the toilet and toilet seat was filthy. I have photos documenting all of this. I would have preferred to request a refund, but the Orbitz representative was unable to assist me. As a result, I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company and, unfortunately, will no longer be using Orbitz in the future.
