I have stayed at this hotel before every departing trip from Heathrow for 20 years. It’s been several years since my last trip and I was surprised and disappointed to see how downhill this hotel has gone in such a time. The staff were uninterested, rooms were dated and incredibly worn, and the beds and especially pillows appear to have been significantly downgraded. The on site bar and restaurant are still nice, but that’s about the only good thing. The Hotel Hoppa comes here but it is packed (maybe you’ll get on the second or third one that comes), and is expensive. If you have more than one person travelling a taxi is actually cheaper sometimes. On my next trip I’ll be trying somewhere else, which is a shame because this hotel holds a lot of sentimental memories

Public transportation to/from airport (terminals 2 and 3) is right at the hotel's doorstep. There is also an area hotel shuttle bus that can collect at designated times at the rear entrance of the hotel. Beds and pilllows are very comfortable! This is a clean, convenient place to stay with plenty of dining options in the hotel, for a quick layover at Heathrow!

Check-in and -out was easy. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean, but on the way to the bedroom in the landing in front of the elevators of the 2nd floor was food on the floor and wall. It was cleaned up within hours, however. The bed appeared to be a pullout with wheels, but it was comfortable.
