Great place…choose your room carefully.

We were in the hearing accessible room. It is not for the hearing to be sure. We were on the E. Commerce st size, and it sounded like street racing was going on all night. The hotel itself was very nice, and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again, but I would ask for a quieter room.

Looks can be deceiving

First off, the hotel is nice. The rooms are spacious and decorated really well. The shower was amazing, nice and hot and excellent water pressure. The bed was comfy and the sheets were top notch. Our front desk associate at check out was very welcoming and funny and we just loved him. Firstly, this hotel says it’s on the Riverwalk. It’s not. You have to cross a busy freeway and walk at least 8 minutes to get there. Secondly, the drinks we ordered at the bar didn’t taste at all like the description. It tasted like pure alcohol, made by the bartender who had to ask another girl how to make them. We decided to go down to the speakeasy afterwards, which was far better by the way. We bought four breakfast vouchers, which give you one bakery item and one drink item, but we only ended up using two because the bakery hardly had any selection. I thought the drink could’ve been a coffee but was rudely told it wasn’t. The selection ranged from bottled water, orange juice, vitamin water, etc. I still ended up paying for the coffee myself. I was under the impression that the coffee was expertly crafted and made in an Italian press, per the video I saw on the Aiden’s social media pages, and it wasn’t. All I received was a mediocre coffee that tasted and looked like gas station coffee. I ended up taking a couple sips and throwing it out. After leaving the entire day to explore, we came to the room being untouched, no room service at all. The Aiden was a disappointing experience all around.

Great spot close to convention center

I feel so lucky to have found this gem within a five minute walk of the convention center. Great bar and lobby. Friendly staff. Clean spacious room with a comfy bed.

Location Location Location! And great staff

Had a wonderful stay here! Staff was so sweet. Only thing is it is valet only and it’s $30 a night. That being said the valet staff was fantastic and timely. Definitely a hidden gem.

Hidden Charges.

To many hidden charges. $30.00 per night for parking. Then they charges an extra $90.00 on our card for incidental fees just in case they said. The Speak Easy was a Joke. No live music until late in evening, however they book you for a 90 minute maximum time way before the music starts. We left a day early because we were just so frustrated about all the excuses that we were given. Still have not received the reimbursement that was to be given back for all these bogus charges. There are nicer and closer hotels to the Riverwalk. Next time we would try one of those.

Pretty good, but could be better

Overall our stay was ok, our room was located close to the lift, and close to the freeway so we found it to be quite noisy. Had some problems with the sink and had to ask 4 times to get it fixed. Location was close enough to the riverwalk , but also quite a walk on a hot day. The hidden speakeasy in the lobby was great. Also appreciated the cafe in the lobby .

Hotel smelled fresh and clean. Our room was perfect for what we needed. I hated the parking situation but that’s expected in a big city. I’d definitely stay again!

Fantastic Location!

Location location location! My family was there for the Final Four and we were pleasantly surprised that the Alamodome was just a 5 minute walk away. Riverwalk was just a short 10 minute walk away and the hotel is literally right off the main highway. The room was pricey due to supply and demand, but I guess that is to be expected. My only complaint was that there was no complimentary water in the room. For as much as I paid per night, I would expect for them to at least provide a few water bottles. Also, housekeeping cleaned the bathroom but did not make our beds, which was a little strange. Nevertheless, the fantastic location made up for all other shortcomings.
