We had a wonderful stay at The Windermere Hotel. The rooms are much larger than most. I’d suggest asking if the bathroom has a regular shower or one with a bathtub. I’d also ask if the bed is a double, queen or king.the breakfast is wonderful!

My partner and I stayed at the Windermere hotel for 2 nights. Great location and very convenient for getting around, whilst being quiet enough that you were not disturbed. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind, giving advice on reaching tourist spots and also keen and willing to accommodate requests. Room was clean, tidy and air conditioned which was a big plus in the recent heatwave. Breakfast was included and was delicious. I have no complaints and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was especially helpful as there was an Underground strike. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Only slight downside was that there has been no attempt to soundproof the accommodation meaning that my relaxing early night didn’t happen as some guests were banging and slamming around very late into the night. The staff was so kind and friendly, the room and bathroom (Wren) were spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet and looked recently renovated. Plenty of power sockets, very comfortable bed, a coffee machine, safe, comfortable seating and very tastefully decorated, as was all the hotel. Also excellent breakfast, generous and freshly prepared to order. The staff kindly allowed me to drop off my suitcase before check in and it was taken up to my room ready for when I arrived. I had such a great stay and wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely stay again.
