Front desk staff were friendly and good. Bellman also very helpful. One of our beds was super squeaky so every time I shifted or got up, it woke up my friend in the other bed. Seriously squeaky and loud.

This hotel was in a great location. Although it is an older hotel, the rooms were in good condition. It was a little inconvenient that there was only one microwave oven located in the lobby. There should be one on every floor. However the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Waited 27 minutes to check in while front desk staff Joy was laughing and giving Mardi Gras beads to three people. Called the hotel operator for help and was told there was only the one staff to check in.

There needs to be monitored more due to people being very loud and rude in the hall ways at night. Not everyone parties all night long. We did not get much sleep. Will not stay here again.

It’s a decent hotel. When I say decent I mean it’s not worth the money you’ll spend to stay there. It’s a great location. It’s convenient for all the walking you’ll do in New Orleans. Positives: good location, convenient, you don’t hear the noise as much as you’d think, beds were comfortable. Negatives: the staff has no personality, the breakfast is severely overpriced, our room had no AC and was 83* and when I called about it the front desk said ok, the following day the front desk said I was the 12th person to call they weren’t sure if it would be fixed, it was fixed the second day but still stayed muggy in the room, the toilet ran loudly all night and barely filled to flush, the shower head shot water all over the ceiling and walls, the water provided in the lobby had days old fruit in it and was refilled over the same fruit, there was no compensation offered for the discomfort from the AC being out not even a free over priced breakfast. Upon checkout not one person thanked us or asked how our stay was. I understand it’s a busy city and it was an extremely busy weekend but for $450.00 a night plus $55.00 a day to park it absolutely was not worth it. I frequently visit New Orleans and typically stay at Drury. This was a last minute trip so they were booked. Do yourself a favor and stay a couple extra blocks from Canal and Bourbon and save yourself about $500.00 for a weekend trip.

Bathroom floor was very sticky upon arrival. Reported to staff with no action taken. Being on the intersection of Canal and Boyrbon Streets, the noise from outside continued until 4 am and did disturb our sleep. General maintenance of hotel was not maintained, including our room door which was a struggle to close and secure.

While I understand that the hotel is always busy and a certain level of chaos is to be expected, I do have several significant issues that need to be addressed. Firstly, the bathrooms were consistently not ventilated properly, leading to a musty smell with a concern for mold, and the leaky tub was quite inconvenient and unappealing. Additionally, noise levels in the hallways during off-hours were disruptive, affecting my ability to rest peacefully. The carpets in both the room and the halls were sticky, which was unpleasant and unprofessional. More concerning was the booking assignment: despite asking upon check-in, I was placed on a different side of the hotel from the event I was attending. To make matters worse, I had to pass through the lobby—the main area—while children and families were present—despite the event being adult-themed, there was no thought to WHY I asked for the room assignment and no explanation as to why it was ignored. This was uncomfortable and inappropriate; the fault was not the events, they did everything they could to remain compliant and socially appropriate. While the hotel has some positives, Most of all, the staff were actually amazing to us at all times! These issues need immediate attention to ensure a better experience for future guests. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improvements.

My room wasn’t ready on time, my room had a view of an abandoned building when I asked for canal street view. My a/c wasn’t working well, we didn’t have toilet paper upon arrival.

The location was great for walking and they were able to accommodate our early arrival. There is peeling paint all along the floorboards and what appears to be mold on upper part of the walls, in several places in the hallway. In our room, the high ceilings were nice and the beds were comfortable, but we had no seating available even though there was enough space to put another king sized bed plus in the room. We had 2 workers try to get into our room while we were there, the first one did knock and state she was from housekeeping, but didn't give us a second to respond, the second one did not even knock and just opened the door. The food in the restaurant was good, but a bit pricey. We paid over $140 for a lunch consisting of 3 appetizers, a salad and 2 drinks.

Room was fine, but the bathtub facet was running hot water and noisy. Talked to front desk 3 times , no one came to fix so we asked for another room. Which they did. But would not like to see what their water bill and gas bill would be.

There were no blankets for neither of the beds just two sheets to sleep with. Everything was dusty. The mirrors were dusty. We had to wipe off with towels. The sink and bathtub in the bathrooms were not draining. The water would just sit there. Refrigerator smelled like ass. The remote was nowhere to be found. The countertop in the bathroom was very dirty as well.

I made this reservation online and paid for everything online. In the description it said parking available. Once we arrived we had to either pay for valet parking or park in the hotel parking lot and was charged an additional $90. When we checked in they asked me to give them a card to keep on file. I now have a $55 charge on my card and was not explained what this was for. I tried to call the hotel multiple times to figure out what the $55 charge was for and I cannot get anyone to answer the phone.

I was there to celebrate my 50th birthday. The check in process was Terrible. My check was at 4pm and wasn’t in my room until 620pm! The communication and transparency from the staff was poor.

Anniversary get away

Overall stay was good. Beds could use better covers, they were thin and so we were cold. Staff was GREAT! Accommodated us when our room was 2 queens instead of 1 king. We were there for our anniversary, I mentioned it more than once to see if any perks were given for the room but nothing was done. Location was perfect.
