I dislike complaining but it was one thing after another.
-checked in rooms are old, ran down, and falling apart. Front desk says that’s bc it’s a historic building. Historic and maintained are totally different. Wallpaper peeling off, cracked floors, dirty light switches, dirty cups in room, hair in room. The lobby is nice and updated but thats just for appeal. Went to get ice no ice, went to another floor no ice, called front desk no answer, went to front desk and they told me I was wrong and that there is ice and questioned if I called. I wasn’t going to defended myself and asked please direct me to the ice. Found it on 4th floor. Morning time came, I went to day park $20 bc I’m not overnighting $45. They told me I couldn’t get my car and if I left it would be another $20. I assumed day park was for day and I could go and come. For meeting and food. That was very disappointing and seems like they are pinched for money everywhere instead of having a luxury standard. I then went to restaurant and they told me for my breakfast thats included with room that I needed a voucher. I didn’t see a voucher so I went to room to double check. Nothing. They failed to give me vouchers at check in. Went to front desk and same guy who check me in questioned me and said i didn’t give them to you, you don’t have them. No sir. He finally gave them to me. I went back to restaurant.Waiter behind bar is gossiping about news and such as they have a line and breakfast ends soon. Il
