My family of 8 stayed at the property for 5 nights. We thought it was enjoyable and they had a lot of day activities and night activities. Kids area was great and many activities for children throughout the day. We managed to get reservations at all the restaurants and decided the buffet was better which says a lot. Although the food wasn’t the best we still enjoyed our stay. I would recommend to anyone who is on a budget. Download the Park Royal App before you arrive at this destination to be prepared. We were very pleased with the service Omar and Angel gave our family!

Llegando no me respetaron lo que reservé y me cobraron adicional más de $18,000 pesos mexicanos ($900 usd) por 2 menores de 11 y 13 años, no son nada flexibles y ya estando en el lugar no tuve más opción que pagar. El Hotel no vale lo que terminé pagando (casi $50,000 pesos mexicanos ($2,500 usd)). El hotel está viejo y le falta mantenimiento Hay 2 elevadores para todo el hotel y uno no servía, por lo que durante toda la estancia tuvimos que subir y bajar 5 pisos por las escaleras La comida bufete es de muy mala calidad, te venden la idea que es espectacular pero la realidad es muy malo La bebidas de igual manera es muy mala, en 2 ocasiones se les acabó el hielo y las bebidas las sirven a temperatura ambiente Los clamatos no escarchan los vasos y solo le ponen cerveza y clamato, sin limón y salsa Los restaurantes para reservar en la noche bien a secas, pero es una bronca reservar porque es a través de una app y se saturan rápidamente El hotel tiene buena ubicación, pero creo que hay mucho mejores opciones y definitivamente no volvería nunca

The room stunk like a sewer, there was a drain next to the toilet and we think that is what it was. Housekeeping showed up twice, so we had to find fresh towels and toilet paper for ourselves. Everyday they ran out of beach towels and ice. So they would only serve beer after 3pm. The lunch menu was cheeseburger, hot dog and French fries, they ran out of fries everyday. One day the burgers and hot dogs were gone and it was corn dogs. To get a dinner reservation you sat in a line for 30-90 min. They have since gone to an app. We did eat at the Mexican restaurant but waited 25 min to be seated even with our reservation, and than 10 minutes at the table. The buffet which did not require a reservation was average with few traditional Mexican options. The elevator broke so we started riding the service elevator. They have a beautiful roof top bar. Which was open twice the entire week. The staff was uninformed if it was open so you had to get up there to find out. No beach food service. Most staff was apathetic or seemed to hate their job. Twice we ordered drinks on the beach and they were never delivered. The entertainment staff was amazing! Joe’l and his male counterpart were great and tried their best to overcome the shortfalls of the resort. Water aerobics was good, karaoke fun and the mix of poolside activities. The beach is wonderful. We’ve been coming to Cancun for 12years, stayed at 10 resorts, and this is one we will never come back to.

We stayed in this place many times before, however haven't been back since 5 yrs ago. Service and food was very good. Seems new owners, and it's gone downhill. Food is ok for breakfast. Lunch and dinner in the main cafeteria, not good. Meat to rough and no real taste and you get a butter lnife to cute steak, or pork meat. Newer staff, seem nice, but are all about treating guess as children. Extremely slow to sit you down. And the fans are on high so your food is cold. They have 2 other restaurants, that you can't even get to, cause they have a ridiculous reservations idea, you stand in line at 4pm and wait for about and hour plus sometimes 2 hours to get reservations for one of the restaurants. People go on vacations to wnjoy not to sit or stand to make reservations for over and hour. Oh, and if the line ia to long, you mat not get a reservations after you wasted you time waiting. So we had to look outside of the place to eat dinner. Grear locations safety is high. Beach, they put most of the pegula for the VIP member's in frint of the view for non VIP so your view is pegula not ocean. Very dated needs some updares. House keeping, well they do have the rooms clean at first. After a day, they are simple, no real moping or dusting and they failed to replaced all your towels. They offer complimentary coffee, but failed to refill without asking them. Smokers, get treated like crap, they make them smoke in some area that looks and feels like an alley. Horrific

The hotel is Totally in not in a good shape, any ice machine was working on the property really in a hot weather no ice no joke, big line if you want to make a reservation for any of the restaurants oldfasion taking reservations only one person write on ridiculous paper I feel no care for any people on the property very low quality on the buffet every day especially on dinner, sellers people really annoyed to try to sale when you don’t ask for that front desk no any explanation about anything low employees they try to do their best no managers around to report any problems on the property lthe elevator hasn’t working for couple days this property is terrible and many things if you want to go vacation on the paradise no come to this hotel I never comeback here but to Cancún yes …. Very be carful to stay in this hotel nothing good here..
