Staff very attentive, pleasant and welcoming. Accommodation was comfortable. no TV - not great for seniors that aren’t tech savvy.

6/10 Okay

The staff were friendly enough, and the room clean…. The overall ‘look’ was a little shabby…. The food at the Microbrasserie was pretty good; the beer, excellent; the wine, not so much….

Bed linens clean. Access to kitchen facility is nice to have. We stayed in the basement and don’t really hear the bar upstairs when we had our door shut.

Regis, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

This is overpriced for a room in basement with no a/c, no tv for $220 a night. Rooms are clean but very outdated so not a good value.
Daniel, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

The expedia add shows lovely rooms. They are not the rooms we got. They put us in a basement with a dirty room, no Air conditioning and no tv. The temp outside was 32 degrees.

I stayed here five years ago and I was on the balcony side... Tonight I was in the basement. No tv, dirty, no view and you can hear the staff thumping upstairs.
Emilee, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

We checked into the room and looked around. There were dead bugs on the floor and flys all around. It was in the bad of a saloon/bar and so dingy and could not imagine touching the bed. Would not recommend

8/10 Good

We stopped here for one night on our way back to Ontario from PEI and were pleasantly surprised. As a family of five, we needed two rooms, and this place offered the best deal by far. The attached microbrewery was a fantastic bonus—after a long day of driving, the food hit the spot and the drinks were just what we needed to unwind. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything we needed for a good night’s rest was provided. While it’s not a luxury stay, it’s a clever and practical use of what looks like a former retirement home, now converted into a motel. If you're looking for a no-frills, clean, and affordable stopover with the bonus of good food and craft beer, this is a great choice. Highly recommend for road-trippers or anyone needing a solid place to rest.
Hope, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Not what we expected for the price! No TV. Reception was hidden in the restaurant/bar area. Outdated decor and way out in the middle of nowhere. It’s fine if you’re booking it as part of a beer tour, but not for a pleasant and convenient overnight stay on a long journey!
