GOOD - Check-in = Extremely easy check in and totally professional greetings by the reception desk. Desk Clerk Jason was very courteous & Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Onsite Parking: Plentiful & additional multi-level parking 1 minute away Room - Considering the age of the site (One of the oldest in the Secaucus) the room was exceptionally clean with full sized refrigerator/freezer. 2-burner electric stove and dishwasher & a microwave*1.See concerns on Kitchenette assets. LOCAL AREA Under a minute walk to bus stop to and from NYC with frequent buses daily Less than a 5 minute was to movie theater, bars, shopping and multi-cultural dining. View: Great view of the NYC skyline and one should research the history of Secaucus to know how instrumental the town is to early American history. BAD, more so a concern and an inconvenience 4 ½ days no housekeeping service accomplished or even see in the facility. AMENITIES Unlike the cross town Stay America, the amenities were very basic; 2 bars of soap and a mini bottle of shampoo, towels, facecloths 2 plastic cups and a roll of TP *1 Advertised as a kitchenette to our surprise; there were no in room pot/pans/cups/dishes/utensils/coffee maker/tasters/dish rack or dish soap! The only inconvenience was going to the front desk to obtain the above then wait for the clerk to assemble the desired item into a broken/shattered properly not sanitized plastic tub. La verdad quede muy contenta con mi estadía, la habitación donde me quede es amplia y hasta cocina, una cama muy cómoda. El aseo se hace cuando llegan y cuando entregas entocs la limpieza de la habitación depende de ti durante la estadía y para mí no fue molesto pues me gusta tener orden. La ubicación es excelente pues el bus 320 pasa en toda la esquina y te deja en el terminal Port Authority, donde también puedes tomar los diferentes trenes que te llevarán por NY; el trayecto dura (12 min) si no hay tráfico de lo contrario máximo 20 min, el pasaje cuesta menos de u$4. En conclusiones lo recomiendo y espero regresar . Ah: cerca queda un centro comercial y salas de cine…

Very very poor experience

Unclean room at move-in with no housekeeping for a whole week. Faulty lighting (had no lighting in the bathroom for the whole weekend since they have no maintenance during weekends and a faulty AC that won’t work and a fridge that rattled all night) Staff is non responsive and irresponsible and will not help. Smelly rooms with old, breaking furniture and appliances. They pass the smallest sofa as a make-shift bed, that can barely fit a 5 yr old.

Filthy and worn out

This hotel is the filthy. Very badly worn out and cleaning is a disaster. Get another around as the location is convenient for Manhattan but do not go there.

overall experience was good, location is excellent, we went for 8 days for my daughters 15th bday the only con was the smell, it was definitely dogs smell, the room looked cleaned however that smell is very difficult to get off, in my opinion they should segregate the rooms, have half to be pet friendly and the other half not,

Average hotel .

Please stay away from this terrible horrible place

When I checked IN, the front staff said, my reservation was cancelled since I did not show up at 3 pm. After 45 minutes her browsing the system gave a room with 2 queen bed and said I have to come by 7 am to speak to the manager since I am a walk in. At around 4 am in the morning continuous calls to my room to vacate immediately since the room that she provided was already reserved by someone. A crap systm they have that doe not evn show up the vaccant and booked rooms. This time one more horrible indecent staff joined together in the front office and was yelling. This time they found out my original room and allotted the old, reserved king room. But I ended up paying twice for the same room. One thru Hotels, Com and the other at the front desk. The rooms were uncleaned; towels and bedsheets are dirty to the core with stains. Please don't ever go to this Extended Stat please.

Nice check in attendant (male) and location

We were in town for my mother n laws funeral. It was kind of last minute and it was the weekend before Labor Day, so everything was over priced. We picked up and found this property and went with it. The location was great, everything is near, you don’t have to go far for anything. Whether it be food, Walmart etc. When we checked in the gentlemen was really really nice and attentive. He made small talk, and was able to get us checked in early, which was GREAT! So, this review has nothing to do with him, because he had great customer service! To start, the hotel is DATED! There needs to be a renovation ASAP! But the thing that I really wanted to say about this stay which wasn’t horrible, but I feel that the hotel staff could have been more accommodating. We had ants! Thank GOD it wasn’t roaches or bed bugs, but geesh! My son that was on the pull out noticed them crawling on the pull out. Then my other son that was sleeping in the bed beside my husband and I saw them too. They were on his bed. Called to front desk and was told there was NOTHING they could do about it, and that they could not change the room. Which, I wasn’t asking for that. Basically all I wanted was a, “I’m so sorry, let’s see what we can do.” Or maybe, “whatever the cost for bug spray that you spend, we can reimburse!” I got neither response. I was left to deal with the any problem myself. Went to Walmart got ant spray. Just an inconvenience. I’d never stay there again!

Outdated Room

Our room was very outdated. Shower ceiling cracked, base of tub caulking was nasty. Window shades with many cracks, holes in them. Room carpet very worn. One elevator was out of order. They did accommodate an early check in but we tried being out of the room as much as possible.
