I initially booked this property for my boyfriend and I because we genuinely needed a little getaway. The thought of a balcony, near water & a clean room sounded so stress relieving. Unfortunately, booking at this location turned out to be a major mistake.
When we arrived, we were told the room type we had a confirmed reservation for and we paid additional upgrades for was sold out .. which was both confusing and unacceptable. Instead, we were only offered rooms with double beds, located outside of the main hotel building — again, not what we booked or expected.
Thankfully, Nicole let us preview a different room before charging for incidentals, but just walking through the dingy hallways and stepping into the room ,which felt like a sauna, we knew this wasn’t the peaceful, clean, or relaxing environment we needed. It was uncomfortable, poorly maintained, and completely misrepresented.
Ultimately, we chose not to stay due to the lack of appropriate rooms and the condition of the space. Given that we had a confirmed reservation and the hotel could not provide the room we paid for, we are requesting a full refund.
This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously. At the very least, do right by your guests when your property falls this far short of expectations.
