The room I had was quite spacious good enough for me and my sons. The staff was so accommodating. Thank you very much. The parking was a bit tight but the security was so helpful, codus for the parking security personnel.

Amazing hotel, clean and tidy with great staff. However, i paid for breakfast but i didn't get it. My partner and son went for breakfast but was told they could not bring me a plate back to the room. Its a buffet, i only wanted 1 plate. I don't like eating around others early in the morning so i was disappointed with breakfast.

I was expecting a lot more from the previous ratings of this hotel. There was construction in front of the hotel that made it difficult to get in and out. Some of the staff were excellent and others were just there to take up space. If you reserve a room through Expedia be prepared to be treated as lower class customer. They were having weddings during my stay and they put the people from the wedding party making decorations or whatever right next to our room. They were loud and drinking. They would move furniture around and kept hitting the door that separated the rooms. They would sit out in the hallway and had items all over the floor. That was how I knew they were different groups. I was patient thinking it would get better after they saw people staying in the room adjoining them. They didn't care. I called the front desk and they said they were sending someone up. Over an hour later I called again and they said they would send someone up. I understood that the group was moved from the 9th floor to the second floor. The next day there was another group doing the same things and they were from a different wedding party. I will not stay here again. There are way to many places to stay to put up with this.

I have visited a few hotels in Davao and the Acacia Hotel was my second stay. I must say, it is an incredible hotel with excellent service. The staff are well-trained and friendly, and the rooms are amazing. The gym and food options are also great. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area

Unauthorized Access to My Room | Double Issuance

It was my first time staying in the hotel. I was impressed upon entering the lobby until going to my room. But then a mix-up happened. While I was setting up, somebody attempted to open my door, fortunately I double locked the room. It turned out that my room was issued twice. This was a red flag to me, security issues. Just imagine you were comfortable changing clothes and not pressing the double lock. While you're in the moment, somebody would open your door to your surprise. Imagine if you're a woman and it was a man opening the door. You would have felt humiliated and inconvenienced. Per checking, this was not a unique incident and in fact common to the hotel. Talked to the concierge and they even experienced the same scenario with a business tycoon in which they had a hard time appeasing the client. I guess this should be a wake-up call to Acacia management to tighten then controls at the front desk, perhaps digitalizing their system so as to prevent double issuance of room number. Once a room is tagged to a customer, the system prevents it being selected thereafter.
