Staff were super helpful, we had a wonderful stay and would consider booking here in the future!
Gurleen, 7-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This hotel is in a quieter neighbourhood of Tokyo. About 10 -20 minutes walk from a subway, depending on which one you use. The hotel is lovely, clean, comfortable with an art exhibition. You don't get that very often! We had the superior double room which was a great size.
Ruth, 5-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Beautiful hotel in the perfect, quiet area - just a 10 min walk from the very busy Asakusa. Extremely friendly staff too. We stayed in the traditional style room which was absolutely fantastic!

Excellent experience!

Very well thought out hotel. Really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean and staff were so polite. The only thing is the property is a little walk from the train station. It’s situated in a residential area, so it’s very quiet.

It was a nice property and I would stay there again if and when I visit Tokyo again
Amy, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Would stay again.

Was a great place. Very boutique and good atmosphere. Would stay again and a short trek from the asakusa station (13 min)

Fantastic stay! The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly helpful. It’s cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus a complimentary welcome drink. The on-site café and art gallery add a lovely touch. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean! Highly recommend!

The general art storage thematic is greatly presented. Lounge and laundry are very practical. Japanese style superior room was great to experiment.

This is our second time at Kaika. We stayed here last July as well. The hotel rooms are spacious (for Tokyo), modern and clean. It is walking distance to the main sites in Asakusa or a short cheap cab ride if you don’t want to walk. Every morning I walked to breakfast at Cafe Tomorrow (the only restaurant open early). Though I’ve looked at other hotels in other areas it’s hard to beat the convenience, location, and pricing of this hotel. Love it!
Kimberly, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great place to stay, rooms large for Tokyo, only slight negative is it’s about a 5 to 10 minute walk to any train line.
8-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Had a great stay here. The hotel's in a very quiet residential area, about 10 minutes walk from the Asasuka subways and main tourist areas. It can be quite deserted if you're walking back late, but the area is very safe.the hotel itself is very minimalist, like a converted warehouse. The hotel also functions as an art gallery of sorts, with displays from local artists in the ground and basement floors. The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. The rooms also shared the minimalist aesthetic and were roomy in comparison to some similarly priced hotels in Tokyo. I liked that the room provided glass pitchers to refill with filtered water (located in the communal space in the basement). Overall a great stay and I'd recommend it if you don't mind walking a bit each day to public transit.
Dong, 6-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Well designed and well appointed rooms and common areas. A little far to the subway (10 minutes).
Finley, 7-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Hotels.com issue

Problem at the beginning because hotels.com and Japan hotels have a different child age limit. You really have to count any child older than 3 in booking thru hotels.com or you'll have an issue. Good thing the staff there esp sinji helped us since it's not our fault.
sophia, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

very cool concept pairing art storage with a hotel. Clean and modern amenities. Only downside is that it’s a 12 minute walk from the subway station which felt a bit far.
Jessica, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It was walking distance to Asakusa temple.
kenny, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice
Hunter, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We like the concept of living amongst modern art in the hotel. Awesome unique experience. My only critique would be to diversity menu at the bar for breakfast fast. Would return again and stay as it is so walkable to foodie attractions and historical sites
Drek, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Beautiful aesthetic. Room was impeccably clean. Bathroom has a seperate wet room for shower/bathing which is superb. Very helpful and friendly staff. Walkable to centre of Asakura and a safe and quiet neighbourhood.
Kelli, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Windows in rooms are very thin. Not noise proof and it was quite windy, so I needed to lay on the opposite side of the bed. Queen bedroom room was quite small for two regular size people.
Victoria, 8-night trip

8/10 Very good

WiFi could be improved.
Bang, 4-night trip
