I thought this hotel was great. It was a good location, a lovely building and lobby and breakfast was out of this world! We stayed in a third floor exterior room which meant it was quite compact with smaller windows. I loved it because it was well designed and very sweet little room but if you need more space request a room on the 2nd or 1st floor or an interior courtyard room on the 3rd.

The water pressure was great!!! Parts of the area seemed a little sketchy. The parking garage right behind the hotel had all kinds of graffiti and i had to park on the top level to receive the parking discount, still! The bed was not centered, my side by the window only had a gap of maybe 6 inches, and the base of the bed could not be moved. Trying to drag your luggage up the front steps was not what you would expect from a high class hotel!!! The breakfast was excellent!! By far the best on the trip.

What a beautiful Grand Hotel. The Ground Floor is absolutely stunning. It was like going back in time. I really loved the breakfast selection and decoration. Truly beautiful! Furthermore, the staff was very welcoming and helpful with advices for my exploring. Some things to improve: The room was a bit dusty. It felt that it wasn't recently cleaned. Especially the slit between the matraze and headboard. I was a bit shocked to find so much dust between it. Also the floors should be better cleaned. Overall, magical hotel that just needs slight improvements to be an impeccable place.

Venlig og effektiv indtjekning. Jeg fik svar på alle mine spørgsmål, og - heldigvis - var det ikke et problem at invitere en ekstra gæst på morgenmad. Det blev straks skrevet på regningen. Værelset var overraskende stort, og rengøringen var der ikke en finger at sætte på. Hotellets morgenmad er alsidig, indbydende præsenteret og lækker. Der er tænkt gode detaljer: termokande med kaffe på hvert bord,og marmelade/nutella/peanutbutter/smør i små glas. Sidstnævnte er også tiltalende fra et miljømæssigt perspektiv. Der herskede ro og fred på hotellet, men det var selvfølgelig heller ikke højsæson. Jeg benyttede mig aldrig af baren/fiskerestauranten, hvilket sandsynligvis var en fejl fra min side, så det er sikkert muligt at få slukket kaffetørsten (og andet) senere på dagen. Min eneste anke skulle nemlig være, at jeg ikke kunne lave en kop kaffe på værelset. Og næste gang må jeg have et værelse med badekar! Udtjekning var ligeledes problemfri.
