Karen, 1-night trip

Location!

The hotel rooms and associated floors need some updating but for the cost and location it’s a great place. Breakfast buffet is fabulous!
Tessa, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

While I didn’t make it to the hotel I want to use this to thank Yumi who was very helpful and communicated very promptly and kindly . Much appreciate your excellent hospitality.
4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The staff are always helpful, rooms clean and it is so close to everything.
Rebecca, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

the geographical location is perfect, very central. The staff is great, but the hotel is aging and no longer up to current standards. Having water in the rooms shouldn't be a requirement.
LAURENT, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

Handy location
Jeanette, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Good location.
Kumar, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

It's very accessible to shopping, and the river.
Sue, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

I found the bathroom tired and the public areas underwhelming, staff were good but at time hard to hear. The staff obtained a room for me as I had arrived at about 9:00 am rather than 2:00 pm which was appreciated.
Peter, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

My third visit to the hotel and like it for the convenience to the city and also transport.
TRISHA, 8-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I will be coming back here again!
Luke, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good staff
Alan, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Living space was clean and tidy. Property was in a great position. Unfortunately, bathrooms are in desperate need of an update. ( Mouldy grout lines. ) Not what I would have expected for a studio at $430 per night. No hot water for last 2 days. Staff were very friendly
Graeme, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice to be able to walk into the CBD. Reception staff were very helpful on arrival. I also liked the rooftop bar area.
Janette, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

right in the centre of the city.........easy to walk everywhere
Maria, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Staff were friendly and very helpful, and room was good value for money. Location cannot be beat. The only drawback (and this is for people with mobility issues or wheelchairs) was that the accessible room door was heavy (good for soundproofing) and was difficult to open while using a wheelchair or other mobility devices.
Samantha, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

ok central and good access
ROBERT, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

A little tired

I stayed for 2 nights in the Mercure. Check in was a little slow. The reception looks impressive but the rooms and corridors are a little jaded and could do with some renovation. Breakfast was just ok, could do better. Overall decent hotel but my room was close to the elevator so quite noisy. Check out was 10:30 which was a little early for my liking.
Edward, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

didn't enjoy the Bar upstairs. very little in the way of common Beers etc. Bar downstairs (KG'S when opened) used to be a much better atmosphere.
Graham, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

First time staying here and we were excited as my husband and i dont go away alot because of work we were a little disappointed heading up to our room after stepping out of elevator the carpets had a smell about them that wasn't pleasant and bathroom was a bit dirty. photos of rooms online are a bit deceiving. Staff we pleasant and polite
Paul, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel looks beautiful from the outside. The room was old and dated. The bathroom tile grout was in need of a good clean.Broken and chipped interior. Definitely not worth the $800 a night we were charged. On the upside the restaurant downstairs was lovely and it’s close walking distance to the city
Winni, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very disappointed in not being able to access WIFI Unable to phone reception as phone line was always engaged.
TRISHA, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

No fredh towels after day 1.
clive, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The pool area shuts at 7pm which is extremely early. Most hotels it is 10pm. The room had an odour whose was like a damp musty smell. The air conditioning barely worked and didn’t really cool the room down.
