First, let me be clear. The staff was excellent and my review is not about them. If anything those employees deserve a raise.
This is a clearly older building and it shows. I had 3 rooms in the 3 days I was there. First room was fine except the second night water started leaking in from the room above. (It will have been the best room of the 3.)
I got moved to another room around midnight. Except the other room was smaller than what I paid for and missing amenities I had specifically chosen my room for but since it was midnight and I was exhausted wait until morning. Woke up and took a look around and the floor was sloped towards the bed. Not reassuring. Went to make a sandwich for breakfast and apparently the fridge was frozen over with a huge chunk of ice. So let them know and also asked for another room with the amentities I had paid for.
They got me moved into the third room. The AC in the 3rd room took forever to cool the room and was pretty loud. But at that point i only had one night left so I just dealt with it.
The location was near the airport which is one of the reasons I chose it. I don't not recommend it but definitely check everything in your specific room before settling in.

What was unique with the property was that it has balconies off of the rooms. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable. My only complaint would be that the door to the balcony was very hard to open but other than that everything was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a late checkin and Michael (I think that was his name) made check in a breeze after a long day of traveling. We sure did appreciate all of his assistance. We will be staying here again for sure.

The property management needs to set guidelines for traveling sports teams and ask that they respect other guests. The sports team on our first night was very well mannered … no problem. The noise of kids running in the hallways and slamming doors was constant on the second night of our stay. We ended u checking out a day early, as a result.

The rooms did not provide sound resistance. When people were walking and talking in the hallways-I could hear everything they said. They gave me an adjoining room. The man on the other side was on his phone. He was in an argument with his spouse. He was yelling and hitting something. I didn’t feel safe. I asked for a different room. The staff happily accommodated. All the staff was friendly-except one man. (Manager apparently) someone smoke alarm was going off in a room down the hall. Non stop. I went and reported it and asked if someone could check it out. I went back to my room and started packing up stuff in case we had to evacuate. After 5 minutes I went back down to ask why he hasn’t been up to check it out yet. He was making an omelette for a guest! I said to him are you serious right now? A smoke alarm has been going off non stop and you think making an omelette is more important? He finally goes upstairs and uses his keys to enter that room, without knocking. To his surprise there was someone in there. Crazy situation. He just had to reset the alarm and it finally stopped. Corporate said the reason he finished the omelette is because he knew it was just a faulty alarm and nobody was in there. Well that’s untrue. Clearly. Seems like they are trying to cover for him. The rest of the staff was so friendly. Room was clean. Bed was higher up than normal. I had to jump up to get in. I’m 5’4”. It was comfy but tall.
