When I went to check-in, I was asked to pay despite already having paid online. After showing the receptionist my receipt to prove that I already paid. He asked if I had used a Mastercard even though the receipt clearly stated Visa.
When I went to my room, I had to go up to the 2nd floor. There was no elevator to help with my baggage. The room was big, which was about the only good thing. There were several light switch covers that were cracked, there was an electrical outlet with no cover, the shower head was broken and wrapped with packing tape, the air-conditioning unit worked decently but had a loud rattle, there was a constant beeping noise in the room and you could tell that the walls had been partially painted (not very well). When I took a shower, a bunch of dirt came off the bottom of my feet from how dirty the floors were. I also needed AAA batteries for the remote to the TV. I had to tell the receptionist that the batteries he had at the desk were AAAs, even though they were marked.
I tried having the free breakfast, but there was another guest having issues with the waffle maker. The receptionist tried helping, but didn't seem to do any better. There weren't enough spoons to just do cereal, so I gave up on that.
