當取房間後，才發覺沒有拖鞋和牙刷供應，要自己跑到櫃檯要求才有。但是house keeping 已經放工，唯有第二日才拿到物品。

Everything was really good. Good service, wonderful breakfast and clean undisturbed rooms that had available cleaning and refilling of the available drinks in the room (water, tea,coffee, chokolate, soda). The only thing that I missed was a toilet brush...

Most noisy room I’ve ever stayed at. They definitely need to check the noise level in every room. Terrible sound kept coming from the air conditioner even when I turned it off, and even though the window was shut, the noise from various machines outside on the roof came coming in, causing me to hardly fall asleep.

I was on holiday in Edinburgh for the first time. My trip was for eight days and I was staying at Hotel Indigo (York Place) for most of my trip. The hotel staff was very polite, professional and helpful. The hotel was very clean and was located in an are with access to many local restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were very disappointed with our stay at Hotel Indigo. From the moment we booked a premium king room, our hopes for a relaxing holiday were quickly crushed. The hotel does not have true king beds—they zip together two uncomfortable twins with a deep gap in the middle. Our room was dark and dingy, with a huge TV blocking the only window—and it didn’t even work. The wallpaper was peeling, and we were offered earplugs at check-in, a clear sign of what to expect. There was no phone in the room—just a disconnected one in a drawer. When the hair dryer overheated and nearly set off the alarm, we couldn’t call for help. It could only be used beside the bed, as there was no bathroom outlet or mirror. Smoke lingered at the front entrance, despite “no smoking” signs staff ignored. Cleanliness was also lacking: after the room was “cleaned,” our bathrobes were left in a dirty pile on the floor. Staff told us replacements were “impossible” and hung up on us. When we raised concerns, we were dismissed repeatedly. The final insult? Being told the issues were due to booking a king room they “weren’t prepared for.” Manager Carla was particularly unhelpful. This hotel absolutely ruined our stay in Edinburgh. Spend your money elsewhere—this place is not four-star quality in any way.

Without doubt the worst hotel experience I've had in 15 years of travelling for either business or pleasure. The room was at street level at the front. So noisy, which I know the hotel can't be responsible for, without having better windows. The reception was effectively above the room and people were walking through with cases up until after midnight, and form 4am, the ceiling sounded like it was going to come through at numerous points in the night. You can hear every door in the hotel shut, throughout the evening and morning. I asked if I could cancel my second night after an hour of checking in one night one, and got told it was non-refundable and I had no other options, the hotel was full. With a semi-patronising smile. I would urge anyone staying in Edinburgh not to stay here, it's terrible. The room was also dark, and for £270 a night I had water and A chocolate bar in the fridge - great value. On checking out the lady asked how was my stay, when I told her about it, she said 'Sorry to hear that' with no hint of any resolution. what's the point in asking?

Room was tired and needed some maintenance, simple things, wobbly coffee table, loose toilet seat etc. room was otherwise very nice. All the staff were polite and very helpful. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. They do not provide evening meals but plenty of choice locally. The only downside is a rumbling noise from passing trams which was slightly annoying. Otherwise, we enjoyed a lovely stay.
