Loved our tiny home. Climbing the stairs was an awesome experience. Drinking tea every morning surrounded by the tranquility of nature helped us to release stress. We really appreciated the ayurvedic breakfast, the chefs always gave us detailed explanation of each ingredient.

underwhelming & overcharged experience

The place feels smaller and less airy in person than the photos. We picked the 2 story-house with glass windows that look very nice and airy in photo, but in real life it felt so much stuffier than I could ever imagine due to the smaller size & the glass windows that absorb all the heat. When booking we were hoping no AC wouldn’t be too much of an issue, but in reality, the stuffiness of the small room plus the fact that all the bugs and mosquitoes outside can’t wait to feed on us the moment we tried to open a window to let some air in make everything so unbearable. We couldn’t sleep at all for the entire 1st night. During the day, we couldn’t stay in our room to rest due to the constant heat & had to go to the pool/common area to cool off. It was so dreadful to think of going back to a hotel where there was no comfort to a point that we had to cut our trip short. But again I wouldn’t blame it too much on the hotel as this is just a matter of personal preference. Some people may really enjoy the nature and prefer no AC. The low rating is eventually due to the fact that the hotel charged us more for 3 nights (we even stayed for only 2 nights) than the price we booked on hotels.com. And while they were super responsive before our arrival, when I reached out & asked about the extra charge after the trip, they went silent. What a way to do business!

Amazing property!

Finca Victoria is a GORGEOUS property and the pictures accurately reflect what you’ll receive. The room was cozy, had a beach kit and necessary basics in the kitchenette. The outdoor shower was kind of surreal and loved every second of it! The check in process was a little clunky. He (not the manager but some other worker not listed on the website) put us in the wrong room, then offered a glass of cava on the house as a sorry and then disappeared.. Wasn’t a huge deal but a little distasteful. Breakfast was delicious, but was late every day. It lists from 9:30-11am but did not ever come out before 10am. In my opinion, 9:30am is already really late for breakfast, and the delay didn’t sit well with any of the guests sitting at the table. I understand it’s a wellness center but when you’re trying to maximize every part of your day, any delay is inconvenient. However the checkout process was great. We checked out but were allowed to store our luggage’s, we were offered a beach kit and we were allowed to shower in the communal showers until we had to leave. Overall, I’d give the location 10/10 but the service and hospitality 8/10. Would certainly recommend and stay again!

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen mitten im Grünen. Alle Unterkünfte passen sich toll in die Natur ein. Es gibt einen schönen Gemeinschaftspool und Eis umsonst. Ein Frühstück ist im Preis mit inbegriffen, dieses muss man allerdingst selbst zubereiten und wer nicht auf vegane Pancakes und Haferbrei steht, muss zu zweit für zwei Tage von 4 Eiern leben. Leider war unsere beide Nächte kaputt und wir haben weder einen Preisnachlass noch eine Reperatur bekommen und das bei 30Grad. Ansonsten eine tolle Anlage.
