The pictures of the common areas belie the disrepair inside the rooms: broken, uneven flooring; uncomfortable beds. Limited, very tight, poorly situated parking required backing a vehicle out of the tight lot onto a busy street, with almost no visibility. At check-in I was disconcerted as the desk clerk announced my room number outload and printed it in large bold letters on the parking pass we were required to display. Both are practices that should be ended for guest safety. We paid through Hotels.com, but the parking fee wasn't covered. The Hotel took a $50 deposit at check-in (no problem there), saying we would get charged a $22.00 parking fee at check-out. At check-out the clerk couldn't or was unwilling to provide a receipt. After reviewing my credit card statement, it looks like they returned $22.00 of the deposit and charged us $23.00. A negligible cost difference, but I've never had a hotel unable to provide a receipt of their actual charges.

Sim, este é um hotel budget, feito para ser barato. Mas precisam entregar mais, principalmente nos quartos. Primeiro vou aos pontos positivos: é bem-localizado, o check-in foi rápido e, ainda que simples, oferece um café da manhã com um serviço muito prestativo. Não dá, contudo, para deixar passar o fato de o quarto ter um carpete antiquíssimo, uma mobília igualmente velha e um banheiro com aquelas banheiras inúteis com cortina. A cama, sinceramente, foi a melhor que dormi na Califórnia. Mas o quarto precisa de um melhor acabamento!!!

Patricia made us feel very much at home. She took good care of us at breakfast. The front desk staff were also great. My only quibble was the smell of the cleaning products used in the room: they had sweet, cloying smell that made me nauseous. Odorless would bebetter. In the broader sense, the hotel needs to invest in better lighting for the rooms, even if that means charging a few dollars more.

Breakfast was not good at all, just waffles, cereal, toast or bagels. The only fruit was diced peaches. There was a worker there handing out everything so we had to wait in a long line. Breakfast doesn't open till 7:30. They have no coffee machines in the rooms and no decaf anywhere on site. Traffic in the area is horrendous,15 minutes to go two blocks to pull in the parking lot. Not enough parking for the number of guests that pay for it. Very small vanity in bathroom, no place to put toiletries while getting ready. Location was close to Hollywood Blvd though, so that was nice. Man at front desk was very nice and professional but the Sunday morning guy was rude and short tempered. He threw my car keys at me since I had ask for them back since they didn't have enough parking and I parked in the middle of the lot, blocking everyone else in. They took my keys in case they had to move it.

Exceptionally kind staff. So caring and accommodating. Very quiet place, which is astonishing for how close to all the action it is. Exceptional location. Easy to get to everything. Hot tip: evening drinks at the Lowe’s hotel which is practically connected to this place. This is great value for the price and it might take a night, but you’ll really appreciate the location and the staff.
