Getting to the property was not the easiest thing the first time, as it is in the very centre, the taxi can only drop you near, so you have to walk through the city centre to get to the property.
There are plenty of convenient shops and food outlets, as you are in the very centre.
Getting in initially is challenging, as you are texted some complex, but detailed instructions to get in the building and to your room. It is not manned.
The outside of the building looks old and tired and I was apprehensive about what the apartment would be like. The hallway and building in general is very old and a bit tired and the lift area smelled really strongly of old engine oil. The lift was very old fashioned but worked.
There was no hall lighting down the corridor, which wasn’t great or very safe.
The apartment itself was nice enough and fairly clean, but a little bit tired. It was spacious and well equipped.
It was quiet, with no outside noise. You could hear your neighbours, but only very slightly.
For me to travel, I had to walk to the end of the shopping area, to catch my Uber. It’s only 6-8mins and I was lucky to avoid the rain.
If it’s a few people staying here, it would be great value.
Payment is by bank transfer only, no credit cards. I have a company credit card, so had to pay out of my own money. For this reason I wouldn’t choose it again, when I return in the near future, which is a shame, as the property was good value.
