Pit-stop

We traveled in for a pit stop to sleep heading home. We stayed at four different Comfort Inn Suites and the St Louis location was the best! 5 stars - it had a comfy bed, nice breakfast, working shower, kind employees - what else can you ask for when you are staying a total of 11 hours!

not planning on staying again

Service was great but the condition is poor. When I tried to use the internet I found I had to move to a corner of the room away from the desk. The fitness room photos showed free weights, there was none, and the machine was held together litterly by a shoestring. Curtains need cleaned. The heater was on 64 but I was burning up. There were a few other things but won't elaborate.

Decent for a quick stay.

First off the people that work there were fantastic and breakfast was amazing. The room was decent. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work so everything fogged up. Only found one plug that worked. And even though it’s not the hotels fault the people next to us were blaring music so loud after 11pm. Overall we may not stay there again.

The breakfast is very good. The room was clean although I stayed for 8 nights and the room was never refreshed. There was an unpleasant cigarette/marihuana smell in the hallways.

Terrible for the weather

Everything was ok and I mean only OK. Except for the hot water there was NONE.. we could not shower. there was no hot water. The sheets so you could see the static electricity. It was shocking us very badly. It actually hurt. And our son is only two. And the temperature outside was 12° dead of winter and even colder than that during the night. It was terrible

Check in was a breeze! No issues. The property is a bit dated and could use some updates, but it was clean. When I arrived, there were several people loitering outside the hotel which caused concern for my safety. However, I slept through the night with no issues. I likely will not stay here again.

Customer Service was great! Rooms could definitely use some upgrading. Beds were really stiff, shower head leaked. The plus in the bathroom was really wore out, couldn’t plug in anything. Breakfast was average.

Avoid like the plague.

Don't fall for the occasional good review. My guess is those are paid. This hotel was awful. The service was awful. The condition of everything was awful. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night because things didn't work on our room. The staff was rude at all times. Parking was horrible. This is absolutely the worst place to stay in St Louis. Not sure if I'm being clear here avoid this place like it is covered in covid. I have never in my life met rooter staff members that I met at this place. And as much as I hate to throw it up I feel like my race played a part in my treatment. Never again will I disregard two or three bad reviews thinking those are outliers. The bad ones are the ones that are real.

I liked the room and it was pretty clean, but there were three problems that really made my stay less enjoyable than it could have been. First, the TV remote didn't work right. After a lot of trial and error I figured out the power button turned the channel up, the mute button turned the channel down. The volume up turned the volume up. To turn the volume down or turn the TV off, you had to find the hidden button on the TV itself and hold to bring up a menu, then figure out how to work the menu. Second, didn't get my wake up call. I was in town for a medical visit and having trouble getting up anyway, so without the wakeup call I slept thru breakfast. Finally, there was hot water in the sink, but none in the shower.
