Very nice all inclusive hotel on beachfront.

I don't know why there are complaints about the food. It was excellent! Many choices if you want American food or Mexican. The waiters were awesome and always there to get you drinks or anything else. The beach was beautiful and sandy, no rocks at all except where the property line was marked. Pools were nice. Night time show was fun and ended by 10 pm so no noise problems after that. Fun walk along a river/pond that does have an alligator in residence. Had no problem finding a pool side chair, but the ones on the beach were usually taken. Loved it here and would come back again.

Brenda and Estphanie were the highlight of this resort — fun, kind, and gave excellent massages. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. Check-in was awkward. The front desk told us the snack bar cost extra (not true) and acted confused when we asked for two room keys. No one warned us about crocodiles on the beach — we saw two in three days, including near the volleyball court. It’s a safety hazard with no fencing. Our first room had mold on a mattress, dirty floors, sand in the beds, and a filthy bathroom. Staff tried to charge us to switch rooms until I showed them photos. The beach was also a letdown: broken bottles, garbage, and fishing hooks dangerously left in the rocks. I was stung by a blue button jellyfish and the first aid staff made it worse by using ice water — not proper medical treatment. Breakfast lines were long, toaster electrocutes you, and staff were rude. When I tried to get food from the snack bar at 11, even though the food laid out ready at the snack bar, I was yelled at and kicked out and told to wait an hour to eat. The nightly shows were entirely in Spanish, with no effort to include non-Spanish speakers — we weren’t even told the safety rules. At checkout, they remove your wristband and you’re no longer allowed to use any facilities. The “day pass” offer felt like a joke. I’ve never cried on a vacation before — this place did it twice. Avoid this resort if you’ve ever been on a real vacation. I truly regret coming here.

Not swanky, bougey or the place to go for your dream vacation. The place needs some updated, the food is just OK and it lacks some amenities like fitness centre. But, I was looking for a quiet place to lay low for a few days and decompress. It's perfect for that. Quiet, clean and very friendly staff.

The local people make every trip here special! Not a 4 star property rather 3. Limited dining experiences but the Ala cart Italian was good. However, customer service was top notch. Many Mexican families who had patience with my limited Español and I taught them English! Gracias!

We recently spent three nights at Las Palmas by the Sea, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The resort’s beachfront location in Puerto Vallarta’s South Hotel Zone is ideal, offering easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The beach area was clean and easily accessible. The resort features two pools, including an adults-only pool, which provided a relaxing environment.

This resort was great for the price. Just didn’t enjoy the actual room. There were no amenities in the room like a mini fridge or coffee pot and the living room furniture was old and worn m, but the bed was very nice . The pool, the staff, and all inclusive were amazing. Again great for the price.

El día jueves a las 11am más o menos nos pusieron las pulseras de todo incluido para poder entrar al hotel pero en minutos otra señorita dijo que nos las quitaran y que después pedimos hablar con el gerente de José luis y dijo que no podíamos entrar al hotel si no hasta las 12, faltaba menos de una hora para que fueran las 12 y nos dijo si quieren si no que pues nos daba acceso hasta las 3 pm con una actitud prepotente, el día viernes le preguntamos a un joven de recepción si el domingo podíamos hacer el chec out a las 12 y su actitud fue igual de pésima y en pocas palabras primero dijo que no y después q podría ser que nos permitieran salir 11:50 con mala actitud, el día domingo no querían resguardar nuestra maleta, y cuando quisimos estar en los camastros de la alberca nos corrió literal una señora de seguridad entonces la experiencia fue pésima de verdad para no regresar y que sepan qué tipo de personal tienen es estés hotel

Ordinaire comme endroit. Parfois pas d’eau pour se laver. Et d’autres fois pas d’eau froide seulement de l’eau bouillante. Très bruyant personnels de la réception bête et peu sympathique. Las Palmas was almost perfect, but our complaints are minimal. We stayed there in mid-April, before the weather turns too hot and before mosquito season. The cool evenings were wonderful, especially letting the breeze blow into your room with the balcony door open. The food was always delicious and varied enough that you could avoid eating the same thing twice in a row, and the drinks were pretty good and plentiful. My kids loved the piñadas (virgin piña coladas). The pool was refreshing during the middle of the day and the cleaning staff were very accommodating. We weren’t thrilled about the timeshare upsell we kept getting from some folks posted at the entrance, but being firm made our intentions clear. The only other thing we didn’t like was the lack of air movement in our room at night. It gets stuffy and warm quickly. One or two changes would make the experience excellent, especially for summer guests: 1) ceiling fans in the rooms to get air moving overnight, and 2) a lockable screen door on the glass balcony door, to let air into your room while keeping out the insects (and the resident cats!).
