The property was beautiful and very quiet. The room at the back overlooking the garden was comfortable and had a large adjoining bathroom. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and provided a delicious breakfast with many choices. I would happily stay there again next time I am in St. Stephen.

Overbooks Room

They/ Hotels.com overbooked us! We had to search the area for another room and of course we were forced into overpaying at the last minute, 25 miles further away. The innkeeper did help us find a room, but I didn’t need the stress.

St Stephen’s hidden gem!

Loved it! The decor reflects years of planning; creating a unique and comfortable home to welcome guests. The hosts are charming and interesting, even to inviting us to a local theatre production the next day. Breakfast was perfect with a selection of homemade jams, jellies and preserves, all artfully presented.

The gardens are a beautiful and relaxing spot to sit and relax. Fred and Burt are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed talking with them. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was absolutely incredible.

Out of the ordinary. Loved the way that each room was crammed with antiques. Not a great place for kids, but we loved the way that every inch of floor space was filled with interesting items and antiques. Truly a throwback to Victorian times. Hosts were friendly and engaging and the breakfast was sumptuous -- can't think of a better word for the feast.

Bert and Fred were gracious hosts with a great knowledge of the area and local history. It had an amazing array of antique collections of all sorts. They outdid themselves with the breakfast which was beyond our expections. It is by far the best accommodation on our trip to the East coast it would be hard to beat. Kevin and Pat

I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. Fred and Bert were very gracious hosts. The house is an eclectic mix of collections and styles. The grounds are very well thought out and well cared for. Breakfast was beyond my expectations. Our hosts gave us several options for dinner and things to do and see in the area. We had intended to stay on our way home but unfortunately, we had not made reservations and they were unable to accommodate us. I would plan to stay here when I return to the area. I highly recommend the Coach House B&B to anyone staying in this area.

Don't be late or they'll let you sleep on the street

We hadn't realized check- in closed at 10:30. When I called, the proprietor told me he wouldn't stay up to wait for us (we would've arrived around 11/11:15) and that we were out of luck. We would pay for the stay, but we wouldn't be staying there. He was rude and the opposite of anything resembling a host. He offered no possible solution (could've told us of other places to stay). This part of New Brunswick is sparsely populated, and had i not known of another accommodation (the Granite Motel in St. George), we (two women) would've had to sleep in our car. After reading other reviews, we may have dodged a bullet by being turned away, but they'd no reason to be a self-righteous jerk.

Charming easygoing hosts, Fred and Burt are very knowledgeable of the history of St. Stephen and were happy to share their stories and experiences with us. The breakfast served during our stay was homemade with care, delicious and varied and is definitely worthy of a 5 star rating.

What a beautiful bed and breakfast!! Everything was incredible! The bed and breakfast decor is exquisite, the staff friendly, the gardens amazing! The breakfast was way over the top! The array of delicious foods available and the presentation with beautiful dishes was truly amazing! We would highly recommend staying here.
