This quiet Inn provided a relaxing and restful weekend, even during Fourth of July festivities. The accommodating staff went out of their way to provide an enjoyable stay. As an example, our dog was not well during our trip and the chef prepared some shredded chicken to help settle his stomach. My wife's spa treatment was delightful! Highly recommend!

Alvin is a great host and aims to try and help. The biggest thing you need to know with the Heron is that there is no elevator so if you are on the third floor, you are going up stairs. The Helpers are very helpful. Food was good. Our second visit to the Heron. It was a great stay.

The Heron is a very well maintained vintage building with the creature comforts and customer service to entice me to want to return for a longer visit. There’s ample parking and we were able to plug in our electric car. The lobby area features an appealing lounge with massive fireplace and seating as well as the breakfast dining area. Breakfast was of a good standard with fruit and eggs made to order . The rooms have a mixture of vintage charm and expansive windows along with a nice bathroom with tub and shower . The bedding was sumptuous and the room very clean and thoughtfully appointed . This review would be I complete if I didn’t mention the staff who were very warm and friendly and helpful , just what a traveller needs. The Heron will undoubtedly be the place I want to stay, the next time I visit the charming town of La Connor with its boutiques and galleries.
