The Inn at Stonecliffe is wonderful! All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The renovated facility is stunning, with each room’s decor unique. No detail was spared. We especially enjoyed talking with George, the manager at General Store, while getting a breakfast sandwich and coffee to go. Loved our stay here!

The Stonecliff Inn was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen or had the privilege to enjoy! The staff was wonderful, warm and efficient. They made sure everything was beautiful for our stay. The food on site at the Straits WAS SUPERB, plentiful , and lovely. The servers were very knowledgeable and helpful in our selections. The Luncheon Pizza oven staff was also warm and friendly and the food was delicious! The grounds, bikes, and wellness center were impeccable! I look so forward to returning again and again! Not a very relaxing 40th anniversary stay

Beautiful grounds and lovely room. Nice employees. Had bad service at breakfast and mediocre service for casual dinner. We didn’t like the constant “yaht rock” music played loudly from speakers everywhere we went. Quite loud and obnoxious after hours and hours of it. Pool area was difficult to relax and read with music blaring and no way to regulate what played or volume. Room was noisy for a long time at night from loud water pump - maybe adjoining room’s jet tub running ? Cleaning staff noisy early in morning in hallways. Staff didn’t seem concerned. We mentioned that we didn’t find our stay as restful as we hoped, when we checked out and staff barely reacted and said that she hoped we’d be back. It surprised us for a very expensive resort. Our first time staying here, and probably our last. But such a lovely place, it makes us sad.

The property was beautiful pretty and well kept, but the staff was phenomenal. Kind, helpful, caring! Above and beyond! My only negative would be the price of the food. I just couldn’t justify spending that kind of money on food. So, we opted for the chuck wagon. They had good food for a decent price. But, when we return - we will ultimately stay here again. I am in love with the experience. 💜

Far from town but with beautiful grounds

Beautiful hotel. Poor soundproofing - woken up several times by guest walking around or dropping items on the floor above. The Straits restaurant was mediocre and overpriced - definitely recommend the Pizza at the other restaurant. Gym was amazing. Kids’ pool was cold. Far from town - carriage rides were expensive, so not the best hotel if you aren’t into walking. Super fun lawn games and fire pits with free s’mores kits.

This property is GORGEOUS and the rooms are nice. Not sure this place is worth the price for a couple of reasons. First, seems like they have staff issues. Short-handed often. Bickering among the employees. Stuff like that. But brand new and clean. Second, for a resort of this size and price surprised that only two places to eat and two small pools. Not as much "resort" stuff as I would suspect. Oh, and they will gouge you on transportation and you are very remote. Prepare to bike a lot. But a lot of promise and gorgeous, serene, quiet location.

The only problem is the location of the property. Don't get me wrong.. You was outstanding and fabulous. The time it takes to get anywhere is 40minutes to an hour. If we were bikers and they had electric bikes then it's perfect. PLAN well ahead to go to dinner, shop in town or do anything outside of the resort. This place was truly special but the moving around quickly was the only issue. I would recommend and also I would stay here again and again.

The resort settings are incredible. Ritz Carleton equivalent.

This is and extraordinary property with so much to do. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The rooms are gorgeous and the grounds are immaculate, we can't wait to go back next year and stay on the island and at Stonecliffe. It was fun for the entire family and worth every penny.

Property was secluded and gorgeous. Lots to do on property. We tried out the dining room, the bar, and the back patio. We also rented bikes. Loved laying in the hammock on the beautiful green lawn. Also took advantage of the sauna and exercise room. All were impeccable.

Beautiful property and setting. Gorgeous really. Not fan of use of horses in island we have technology to get emission free transport… do not like that horses have to drag visitors and everything around here. Time to change that… say no to horse slavery.
