Amazing all round!
We had an amazing stay at The Wellington. The staff were so friendly, we ate both dinner and breakfast at the pub and the food was out of this world good!! Perfect stay, couldn't recommend more!

8/10 Very good

The room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. Had ensuite shower and bath in good sized bathroom that also had shelving for products. Well equipped room and everything functioning. The stair carpet was heavily soiled although it looked as though it was quite new. This is not an indicator for the rooms themselves. No ground level rooms or lift so probably not suitable for people with mobility issues. Good menu and drink selection and very helpful staff. Regular bus service to and from Bristol City Centre. On site, free parking was helpful.

6/10 Good

I like every thing. But it is important to provide telephone in rooms. Especially if needs assistance of some stuff.?Like my case I needed an iron I have to come down on my night dress and dressing gown. Communication in rooms is important. Also try to find a carpet cleaner for the stairs. Otherwise is very pleasant place. Thanks

Comfortable stay in a good location.
Parking available on street if pub car park full. Friendly welcome on arrival and help with bags up stairs. Room clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Music in pub below stopped at 11pm so we got a good night's sleep. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome as it was particularly hot when we stayed there. Only negative really is the carpet up to the rooms is exceedingly dirty and has an unpleasant odour. Needs a good clean!

8/10 Very good

Pleasant friendly staff. Good sized room and bathroom for a couple of nights stay. Breakfast was limited to cooked food only so felt restricted, no fruit, yoghurt or pastries options which would have been my preference and no fruit juice offered. Cooked food was good on Saturday morning but not so good and half portions on Sunday morning and not so well presented which was a shame. A bit noisy in the evenings for us but food was good if a little slow to arrive on Friday evening.

Great staff!
I've not stayed here before and was satisfied overall. It is a pub so a little noisy when in the hotel room as it stays open until 12. However, given it is a pub this is to be expected and not really a criticism. (I booked it knowing it was a pub so my own fault!) Facilities in the room were good - excellent shower and bathroom; tea and coffee-making equipment. Breakfast was good, pricing seems similar to other hotels in the city. There was some dust on surfaces in the room. What really stands out here is the staff who were all very friendly and efficient. I can't imagine you get a personal tour of the room in a chain hotel!!

It was a lovely stay. We stayed for three nights and it was a lovely room. Didn’t hear the pub downstairs at all. Down the road is a dominos and a lovely Indian next door i reccomend it was great! We have breakfast served in the morning but something went wrong w the kitchen but it was still a lovely breakfast.
