If you want a quiet winter retreat, this is ideal. The food at the restaurant was delicious and portions were huge. It is not easy to get to, but this brand new state park is still and peaceful in winter. I can see that summer would be very different, as the slow and shallow creek would be teeming with children.

Resort room
The staff was very limited especially in the only dining room. The maintenance person had to fill in and wait in tables. The food was not good. We’ve stayed in the cabins before and cooked our own food. The resort has always had problems with a shortage of staff. We love this place…scenery is amazing. The toiletries were very small. The bars of soap were so small. See picture below.

Our Christmas stay was absolutely perfect! The lodge is spectacular with a gorgeous lobby. Our room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had a gas fireplace. Both the Christmas dinner buffet and breakfast at the Creekside Grill were delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We've already made our reservations for next Christmas!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this beautiful lodge next to an awesome bluff. Food was good and reasonably priced. We even ate great pizza on our balcony. Customer service was very good as well. I would definitely recommend this very nice lodge!

The staff was awesome, so was the property. As we only stayed one night, before a funeral the next day, this place was the best. Got some exercise walking the trails, ordered some great food, and had the most amazing view during breakfast. Which allowed us a moment of peace before a funeral.

Great Spot for Glamping
This is a beautiful place that I can't recommend strongly enough. We fished, had a bonfire, hiked, and watched wild horses but slept in a great room with a comfortable bed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there is no place to sit at breakfast. Everything else was fantastic.

The property is an oasis in the hills of Missouri. It is comfortable and quiet. The staff are great. It was an awesome experience. Near other great Missouri sightseeing places. The only thing that was a disappointment was no DVD for the TV. But that was a minor thing. Would recommend Echo Bluff Lodge in a heartbeat.
