Great location right on Wenceslas Square. The hotel fascia is beautiful and was a definite selling point for us. We'd read reviews before booking so were aware this was more of a budget hotel, so were not too disappointed by say, the lack of airconditioning (we were there in a June mini-heatwave, yet the fan sufficed for us) or coffeemaking facilities (this WOULD be an inexpensive easy win though; owners take note!). We found the staff a little reticent initially, but fine once they got to know you; we certainly did not encounter any rudeness, and they were very helpful whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was perfectly ok with a serviceable selection of cooked meats, breads, fruit, yoghurt cereals etc. Everything was spotless and fresh towels and linen provided each day. In summary, it's not the Ritz, but if you want a budget hotel right in the heart of Prague with a lot of original features and history, this is the hotel for you. We'd certainly stay again.
