Nancy, the owner, provided top-shelf hospitality both through her facility and personally through her customer service! As a hostel, she really goes above and beyond, and Friendly Auberge would be a bargain at twice the price! Don't even get me started about how much I loved her fixed-price pilgrim menu in the restaurant! For me personally, her being an ex-pat American was hugely valuable as I cannot speak French.

A really lovely auberge in a pretty location next to a park. Nancy and Jason are very friendly n helpful. Great atmosphere and access to kitchen. But is hidden and I had great difficulty finding at night. So try finding your way during the day.

Toulouse location for driving in quiet location.
Hostel with great location in quiet area off the main drag. This is also a downside to this area as the metro stops running at 2300 and long walk to hostel. if you have a car it is great as there is plenty of free parking in a safe location. Park adjacent if you have pets or want quiet time. Room was dorm with 4 per tho' you can request private room for more cost. Service was good with clean sheets and rooms in old style hotel. Nancy was great with multi language for ease of check in and conversation. Food on site and use of kitchen. Toulouse centro 15 min by car. easier by metro.

This is a basic hostel type hotel that has an amazing restaurant owned by the same people. It is well run, clean and friendly. I get a double room for one and mainly choose it because of the location and the restaurant. Room is simple but clean, breakfast nice coffee, bread jam and cereals. In the evening you can have excellent food with the other people in the hostel or eat in the restaurant. They have nice wines and beers and the chef cooks the food in front of you on an open fire...simply stunning food. What I save on accommodation I then spend on fine dining.
