I chose this hotel primarily because it had a "Wonderful" rating and it is very close to where my colleague and I had business meetings. We did not want to have to walk a far distance with all of computers and speaker. First, I not consider this hotel wonderful, at all even though the front desk staff was extremely accommodating. I asked to change my room because the noise of the traffic in front of the hotel loud most of the evening and into the night. The staff happily arranged that so my third night was quiet. Granted, I have very acute hearing so I wear earplugs because I know that. IMO, the breakfast and breakfast room were not great at all. The room is dark and food was mediocre with few choices. The eggs, "bacon," sausage (?) was essentially in another room, and the bread, confiture, cheese, fruit and beverage machine in another. The fruit salad was soggy as if it had sat overnight, the orange juice spoiled. The fromage blanc was delicious which I think they make on site. If I were ever to return to Marseille I would not go to this hotel again, sadly. Not up to par to the last hotel where I stayed closer to the port.
