Rubbish
Only one key for a twin room. My friend couldn’t leave her bag 30 mins before check in time. No one around to help. Mould in the shower It definitely wasn’t worth the money we paid.

Problems finding key holder to allow access, then found previous occupant was still in the room so had to go away and return later. Then had to wait again to get into office where we’d had to leave our bags. Staff very nice though.

Dated but perfectly comfortable
Room was a bit dated but very comfortable and was perfect for a nights stay in Bath for work. Would stay here again, pretty good for the price and super close to town!!

The staff were excellent, great communication and the check-in process was smooth. You are given your room key and a code for the front door, which is great. A fairly good location, around a 15-20 walk from Bath Spa station. Ideal for my trip to see a band at The Forum. A basic self-service breakfast is included. However the room itself was a little shabby and needs updating. It did not quite meet my expectations as per the photos on the website. Personally I would be reasonably happy to stay again, but I wouldn’t take my wife there.

8/10 Very good

Interesting experience! Great location and value for Central Bath - both the room and parking. Would have given more stars except for these niggles: Tried to book parking in advance and as other reviews say got nowhere… On arrival we were early for check-in but called the mobile number provided at the hotel, arranged parking and room key so all ok (we thought…) , then a slight hiccup getting in at end of our evening but was quickly sorted when I messaged and was sent a very helpful video! (note: would have been good to have had this on arrival!) Would book again 👍

Please don’t stay here We were given a back room on a dirty yard . The owners were rude when I drew their attention to disgusting area, entrance and room They agreed a full refund but threatened to call the police on me and my 90 year old Mother if we didn’t leave immediately!! Unbelievable….

Don't stay here
Knew it was going to be bad as they never answered my message to book parking. Tried the call centre and they were useless said you have to book the parking when you get to the hotel even though they only have 2 spaces available. There is a public car park around the back but it was a busy Saturday and the car park was full with lots of angry drivers just going round and round waiting for spaces so I advise to come on the train. Got to the front door and found a note stuck to door asking you to ring to check in. An unfriendly unapologetic woman with a crying baby answered and said you have to use a code on an electronic keypad that was too high for me to see clearly and had the sun shining on it so hard to see the numbers. Once inside there is another sign that says no breakfast because the kitchen is being refurbed. Upstairs we entered the room to find it in darkness because the cord was broken on the roman blind so you couldn't raise it. Lamps over the bed were broken and if you sit up in bed you knock your head on them. Room was very basic, tiny tv and lots of marks on the walls and headboard. Shower over bath was next to a window with no blind so I was not happy to use it as neighbours would see you through the not very private privacy glass. Noisy floorboards and you could hear other people coughing, chatting and using the toilet. The whole place needs some attention to detail as it was scruffy from the pavement up. Steep steps at front. I would not stay here again.

OYO is a hotel administration company based in India, which is to say, it is located nowhere close to this property. There is no “front desk” at this property, and it can be difficult to reach the property manager. When we experienced difficulty accessing the property, and then accessing the internet, we reached out to Expedia and then to OYO, which said it had no record of owning this property. The property manager told us she had been unable to send us access information because OYO did a poor job of communicating our contact information to her. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY unless you enjoy this kind of hassle eating up your vacation time. There are twelve steps from street level up to the front door of the property—do not book here if you have mobility issues.

Pleasent and convenient.
Overall stay was pleasant, stayed in room 4. Bedroom on the smaller size with en suite bathroom with towels provided and a small shower gel and shampoo. Water for shower was nice and warm. Bed was very comfortable with clean bedding had a good night sleep. Check in was good but different to the usual as you phone to check in and was texted over a file with instructions which was nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again due to the convenient location to the city centre, good car park with option of 24hr parking and longer using an app helped make this easier and less stressful. The property does have parking available but due to limited spaces I thought this would be easier.

Self check in, no one at property, given a number to call but no answer had to wait 10 mins or more on door step, to be given instructions. Advertised as bed and breakfast!! But no breakfast offered!! Room was clean and bed was comfy a bit dated!! Location excellent. Wasn't happy about the false advertisement for breakfast. The lady was nice and friendly on the phone on arrival once we got through and did recommended restaurants for dinner.

I paid £214 for 1 night at this place for that price you would expect a bit of luxury but there wasn’t much of that! Room average and my partner became locked in the bathroom as the handle didn’t open from the inside! We were awake for large parts of the night as whoever was sleeping in the floor above, you could hear every creek of the floorboards and beds!!! Breakfast wasn’t available, although the host did tell us this!! Expect to pay an extra £17 for parking behind the address! In all fairness, the directions off the host were great, he was very helpful! It was a small walk away from the Christmas market which is great! Wouldn’t expect to pay more than £100 per room for this place though and that’s purely because of its location!!!

Good Stay
We enjoyed our stay here. I spoke to the host on the phone as we arrived early and wanted to parking advice. He was so kind and explained in detail how to get to the car park and recommendations around Bath. The room was clean and comfortable. You can hear people walking around but that’s to be expected in an old home.

Photos online are very deceiving for what the breakfast and rooms are like. Time for check out said 10:30 on our reservation email. At 10:00 we received a knock on the door saying it was 10 and we were supposed to be out! Door was difficult to get into. Had to call the number on the door to which you you couldn’t hear the person speaking. Lock on room door was very loose and easily pushed open at anytime. Linens were nice and clean. Bathroom was not in best shape and water pressure was lacking. Breakfast was some bread and butter, apples, milk and juice that I couldn’t tell how long they had been sitting as juice was separated. Look elsewhere………
