Beautiful, clean and just steps from the beach. Excellent, friendly staff, always willing to help. Nice, large areas, and wonderful pool. The only drawback is that being one block from the highway you listen to trucks, cars, and motorcycles all day long which makes sleeping difficult.

Our room was facing the street, no balcony. It is a very quiet area. The pool has a warm temperature. The staff were wonderful people. There is a supermarket but you need to take a taxi 70 pesos or a bus 12 pesos. Downton is a 15 minutes walk, lots of restaurants. Lots of stores like 7/11 called Oxxo close to the hotel. There's a small mall across the street with some restaurants. If you want to go to Puerto Vallarta you can take the bus is about 30 minutes drive 24 pesos or you can go to Sayulita which is 20 minutes drive for about the same price.

The rooms are nice, the staff is excellent, the hotel is very modern and clean. If we had booked an ocean view room I would give it a much better rating. We booked a 'mountainview' because that was all that was available. The noise coming from the back of the hotel - Street / highway/ beach access was alot and we did not get much rest at all the nights we spent in this room. I will say that the staff at the hotel did what they could to help us , we were able to have an ocean view room for two nights and it was completely different. If you aren't sensitive to noise then you might have no issues with the mountainview rooms.

The pool was amazing-warm and large. the room was beautiful and clean with a lovely kitchen and beautiful view off the balcony. The in room safe was poorly attached and could be lifted off the wall. The walkable dining options are limited. Food at on site restaurant was average but the service is good. Some construction nearby so hopefully more restaurants will be accessible in the future. There is a strong nauseating sewer gas that comes out of the shower drain (seems ok when actually in the shower as the waters pushed down the fumes) the rubber drain cover provided does help. There was plenty of hot water in the shower. Front desk staff were helpful.
