Average hotel
Beds very comfortable. No phone in room to call down to reception which would have come in useful as there was only 1 bath towel in the room and there were two of us in the room. No toilet brush and shower head was broken too.

It's a nice place to stay
Staff was very nice and helpful I had a little issue with the sofa bed not having any sheets or quilt so went the front desk and spoke to staff and the manager came up personally and offered to set the sofa bed up he also apologised which was very nice of him he said if there was anything else to ask at the front desk. The place is a nice place just needs a little work done to it as my tap in bathroom was wobbly and the carpet was a little bit dirty with stain apart from the the stay was nice.

Liverpool visit
On arrival at Reception Kelvin (I think?) was most helpful as we discussed our visit to Liverpool. Offering excellent advice on travelling and parking options in the city. Our room was clean and the outside corridors were pleasantly fragrant. The beds were very comfortable.

Very warm welcome, attentive staff, room clean but needs modernising, starters and mains arrived together at dinner, heating not working, after 2 trips to reception a heater was provided, lovely breakfast but extremely slow to replenish

Breakfast
Paid extra for breakfast which was terrible, self service breakfast fast poor choice and quality had to keep asking for stuff as it food wasn’t replenished quick enough and items kept running out even though the breakfast area wasn’t very busy.

Lovely hotel, great stay
Lovely hotel ideal location for places nearby we wanted to visit. Breakfast is self service. More than enough choice and good quality. Staff lovely, friendly and welcoming. Will absolutely return for future stays. The only issue would be paint flaking from the ceiling and slight mould issues on the windowsill. Could do with a bit of tlc in places. Didn’t affect stay but overall the stay was great.

Great Hotel, great price for an overnight stay.
Was let down by an air BnB booking a few weeks before our visit. So conducted another search as myself and my 2 sons were coming to the Liverpool v Southampton match. This hotel was very reasonable which was the main reason for the booking. It was further out than the air BnB but the price made it worth it. We arrived around 11am parked the car and spoke with reception to let them know we were had arrived. Check in wasn't until 2pm but the receptionist said it was fine to leave the car in the car park. We got an Uber to the ground (£13) watched the match and walked into the City for something to eat after the game. We then caught the bus back (£2 single) which dropped us about a mile from the hotel so we had to walk the rest of the way. We then checked in around 8.15pm. On both occasions staff were polite friendly and efficient. The room is just what was needed, a double bed and a sofa bed. Tea and coffee facilities, a nice TV, ironing board/iron in the room. Bathroom has a walk in shower 🚿 Would definitely use again.
