Cheryl, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

It was good as a convenient area to get around but the room was small with tv very low over bed and a broken toilet seat.
philip, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

I needed an earlier check in as my concert tickets came through late which clashed with check in, but after explaining this i got access to my room early and it saved me missing out. Staff friendly and helpful. Outside was a noisy road but not terrible. Great shower, much needed after a sweaty gig and walk back.

Lovely Place

I only stayed one night and had to get up at 4am for a 6am flight bit my stay was nice. Ruby checked me in and she's brilliant! The pub area was nice and comfortable. I had the room on the main floor since I had a heavy suitcase and didn't want tondrag ot up the stairs.
Tal, 1-night trip

Great value

Cheap and cheerful. Great value for money. Clean and comfortable with a decent continental breakfast. Cannot complain for the cost. Staff really friendly. Stairs to room really steep... So not good if you have mobility issues.

6/10 Okay

10/10 Excellent

The hotel is very good service and clean
Mustafa, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Sleepless stay

Television didn’t work in single room, so very good & quick to offer a double room instead, unfortunately the double room was at front of building with an extremely noisy road next to it, the room was single glazed & old windows I didn’t sleep properly all night even with the supplied ear protection. To top it all the television didn’t work properly in the morning, should have stayed in original single room at back of property.
Greg, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

The room was stupidly small, the window did not open at all as it was deliberately stuck as it was a wooden sash window, so the heat and smell were uncomfortable. No-one from the company owning it on site during the night - this became obvious when the fire alarm went off and it took over half an hour before anyone arrived. A pipe leak had started the alarm in my bathroom while I slept. I was in the place less than 5 hours, supposedly for a nice rest!
Clive, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Small single room, exceptional value for money

Excellent location near restaurants, O2 academy, Edgbaston stadium, etc. Small single room, but exceptional value for money.
IAIN, 6-night trip

6/10 Okay

Bristol st pub

The plugs didn’t work
Sonia, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Pay a little more and get a premier bin

Room not big enough to swing a cat, bed was a double and very comfortable but took up entire room. Everything clean if a little tired. Ancient windows let in all the noise from busy road outside, only bearable when incredibly drunk. Room cleaners shouting and wailing at each other in adjacent rooms from early in morning unbearable even when drunk
