Great view, rustic cabins, fantastic food. Rooms were quite warm without air conditioning. Would recommend this as a go to place to stay on Manitoulin Island.

The scenery

6/10 Okay

The setting is beautiful and our cabin had a good view. We found the cabin to be too basic for what we were paying.
Merrill, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Very nice
Amandeep, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Nice area, very remote and quiet. Place to stay for more than a night, as the room has a kitchenette and there are a lot of options to hike and canoe. Lots of information provided by the staff, and a lot of “don’t do this, don’t do that” that gives an impression that some guests have not respected the place and that the staff is a little bit stressed…
LAURENCE, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Worth it! Staying at Red Lodge reminded me of summer camp when i was a kid. A communal campfire was a great way to get to meet other people. It was very tranquil at night and great for sleeping.
Michael, 1-night trip

First time visit last week. Red Lodge captures the spirit of Manitoulin and Lake Manitou while offering well furnished and appointed rooms and a top notch dining experience! I definitely plan to come next year !
Peter, 3-night trip

Sherrie, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Lovely property in the Manitoulin inland. Easy access to all areas of the island. Peaceful and clean.
Nicole, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

The Expedia listing was entirely inaccurate. There was no mention that there was no AC, wifi, and TV. We had to leave early because I was suppose to be working but couldnt do it becuase there no internet connection. The beds were extremely squeaky and the mattress had a dip which made the already uncomfortable experience even worse.
Afshan, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Lovely view and great setting to relax
Richard, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Private cabins close to the water, very clean and quite
Hindusan, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

It was a completely different outdoor experience compared to similar locations we have stayed at elsewhere. Even though its the basics, everything was optimized to make the stay comfortable.
Alok, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Red Lodge Resort is a nice get away on Lake Manitou! Beautifully located and western exposure! Hutchin Cabin has a pretty private setting! The beach / shore invites a morning dip!
Walter, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I had a lovely stay at this resort. The staff and management were very accommodating and friendly. The dinner I had at their on-site restaurant was spectacular. Fresh lake trout with homemade chocolate cake for dessert. I will definitely go back for a serene stay at the Red Lodge Resort.
