other rhan being run down its just an older hotel in need of renovation, but my problems lie with the older man at the checkin desk , rude with the wrong attitude for customer service. if you own the place ,you should hire someone better rhan yoy for this job, not but 2 cars in hotel ,being a little nice to people , get decent reviews could change that

2 rooms were well below standard for cleanliness!!
This is 2nd review that I am leaving for this old, outdated and dirty hotel since I received a 2nd request to review and my feelings for this place have not diminished after 5 days. Yes, my sister and I were traveling with a dog, a housebroken and trained nondestructive dog. We are pet owners and accidents happen and that is why you pay an extra pet fee but obviously the cleaning of the rooms is below the minimum health standards. The room reeked of disinfectant and dog urine. Spots and stains all over the carpe several were damp. Lamp shades torn. Air conditioner/heater was full of dirty lint. Wall paper was dirty in places that would not be frequently touched. Visible dirt and dust on all moldings in room. There were stains on bedspreads. The window curtains were missing hooks so they hung haphazardly. There was no 2nd lock on the room door that provides the extra security. We requested a new room and although the room did not reek of disinfectant and urine, it still had dirty carpet with multiple stains. Dirty trim around the walls, dirty AC/ heat grill, no 2nd door lock and you could see light around most of the door. There was supposed to be a breakfast and understandably in the time of covid these breakfasts are scaled down but nothing at all was provided. Despite the lateness of the hour after a long day of driving and sightseeing, we should have left this hotel, lost over a hundred dollars and found a decent hotel.

Its a place to stay for a night, nothing spectacular about it. It was clean, had to hold handle down on toilet to flush. Coffee kit in room was old and stale tasting.

Don't
Sorry, but it is Disgusting. Mold, Mildew or cat literbox smell. Clear water damage issues and poor maintenance. The worst experience in 45 years of traveling. Switching rooms didn't seem worth it since the whole place is worn out and it was late.

Stay away
This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The man that waited on us to check in was rude you had to speak through the glass you couldn't hear him there was a phone there but it didn't work. Went into the room there were there was a hole in the wall that was patched not well. There were holes in the bedspread from cigarettes which it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. At the back of the room the ceiling must have had a major crack in it at one time that was patched poorly poorly. When you went into the bathroom the bathtub was terrible filthy and very scary. The wall of the bathtub must have had a leak behind the spigot and they cut a huge hole apparently and packed it poorly it looked terrible no mirror on the door in the bathroom but the glue was still on the door. No wi-fi they lied. The ice machine did not work much like everything else. I would never ever ever ever stay there again scary stay away there was a broken down car in the parking lot and the scooter that was tore apart on the sidewalk. When you checked out they left the drawer open at the window that you couldn't talk to anybody through because nobody was there had a sign that said drop the keys but nobody's there. A score between one and five and negative 600 stay away I can't say it enough.
Light fixture with dust all over it don't know if he'll show up in the picture but it's filthy nobody cleans the room

For a $100 room it was barely acceptable. It was evident one of the rooms had a full time resident with a pile of junk on the sidewalk outside the room. Not a very safe feeling place.

Although the hotel is rated 2 stars, the room was dirty, there was dust accumulated on the lamps etc.. sheets had holes, and there was 2 bugs in the bathtub. Hotel should be 1/2 a star.

Horrible bait and switch
The hotel boasts a pool and free breakfast. Neither of which were provided with no notice upon check in. The room was pet friendly but even the pet was offended. There was a slimy feeling to the urine stained floors.

This is perhaps the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We waited 20 minutes to check in since the lobby was locked and nobody was at the desk. We had to finally call to get someone. The grass is overgrown everywhere. There are cobwebs in the room, burn holes in the bed spread, mold in the bathroom, walls buckling, and wallpaper peeling off.

It was horrible!! Worst place i have ever stayed in. Got in room it smelled like dog piss, then we realized all the piss stains at the front door. There was cobwebs on the top of the toilet. The sink was dirty, did not like staying here at all. This place is nasty!!!

Not worth the price
No coffee/tea in common area, no breakfast, TV remote didn't actually control the TV. I had to turn the TV on from the TV and to turn off, I had to turn off the power strip. Coffee pot in the room was dirty, a/c didnt work very well. Mold along the baseboard of the bathroom. Not worth the $88 i spent.

Not the greatest
My kids & I were driving through and we only needed beds for the night. The place looked run down, the person in the office barely spoke & looked tired or grumpy, & the pool was covered. Though the room was clean, the lampshades & curtains were duct-taped in places. No ice or vending machines available. No breakfast. We had wi-fi, a working microwave & tv, beds & a locked door. Sufficient.

Worst hotel I have ever been to
Hotel appears abandoned at first glance. Lobby is locked and nobody was at service window at 3:00 pm. Waited over 5 minutes for someone to show up only to have him question the validity of my retired military ID. Mattress was saggy and uncomfortable. No breakfast as advertised on Hotels.com. Would not recommend or ever stay there again.

Dated place, swimming pool closed and no breakfast
Well, where to begin... My wife was driving, I tell her, turn right, it's there, she looks at me "are you sure, it's abandoned?" She was right, the building looks abandoned, the pool looks like it has not been used for a while and there was no breakfast included. The guy at the check-in / checkout was very rude and impolite. The room was dated, walls and trim were moldy / rotted in the bathroom. The sheets and towels were clean but the carpet on the floor looked and felt gross. The AC worked (but very noisy). It looked like to us they are trying to get the last bucks out of that place. This was my first and last stay in this hotel.

The check in attendant was surrly, the grounds were beyond unkept, we questioned if the facility was open upon arrival. The tub has what looked like jets that are not functioning and collecting mold, the tiles were patched back together, the floor boards were missing. We slept on a clean mattress pad, there was no bottom sheet. We will stay with name brand accommodations in future
