Room size was ok for 3, location is a short walk to Hakata Station. Breakfast was ok, ramen was good and sashimi was fresh. Toilets are clean and big. Decent fitness gym.

Location and huge plus
Very lovely hotel, staff was friendly, and the location is close to many wonderful shopping areas and food selection. Only down was the room was sooo hot even with the windows open we were sweating. The best feature in the room was the ceiling fan which is the only added feature so we could at least sleep comfortably

Comfortable and relaxing
This hotel is located in a very convenient neighborhood. 5 minutes walk to Hakata Station, and there is plenty of restaurants nearby. The highlight of the stay is the lobby where you can sit down and enjoy a wide range of books on display. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were kind and attentive.

The room is spacious and tidy and clean. Hotel is close to JR Hakata and is convenient. The only thing is the lightings seems a bit dark and the lighting switches are at the top of the bed panel which is not convenient to turn on and off the lights when leaving and entering the room. But overall staying here is pleasant and front desk staff are nice and helpful.

After getting sick at a hotel in Beppu, it was nice to get back to the Basics in Fukuoka. Hotel is quiet and has a library like quiet atmosphere. Rooms vary in size based on rates. Large rooms are available.

Not book a suite yet the room space is good enough, twin beds are big, tidy and comfortable. Overall its a satisfactory stay for 2 nights. Breakfast with more food choice will be better.
