Small town here mainly for transport to Outer Isles. Nice short and longer walks with fantastic views from the centre of town. Likes the Arch pub and the Ceilidh Place to eat and drink.

The best chip shop chips I've ever had. We ate them on the beach. The ferry to Stornaway is great from Ullapool

A nice and quiet costal town along the NC500 route. It has enough restaurants, a Tesco supermarket and a gas station to stock up supplies.

Ullapool was quiet as we expected but the location was ideal for a one night stop over
"The owner was very personable. I interrupted her Sunday evening meal and she still was happy to help me. I enjoyed room one, which I would change the name to the heart/hart room. I would “hide“ a few more hearts/harts for guests to find and offer a Scottish keychain as a prize if they found them all, perhaps like the one that came with the key to the room. Threse made my stay relaxing and comfortable, just what I needed."
"Wonderful warm welcome on arrival. Small room and bathroom but very comfortable and beautiful highland themed decor. Amazing views from the common room overlooking the Loch. Very short walk into town. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended "
"Charming place to stay , right in the middle of town. Parking out front . Friendly and professional staff. Great breakfast in the morning . Would highly recommend. "
