The location of the Super 8 in Port Elgin is great—close to amenities and the beach
. However, we were not too happy with our overall experience. The room was quite small for four people, making it feel cramped. The outdoor pool was closed during our stay due to a chemical imbalance, which was a letdown. The bed mattress was also very firm and uncomfortable. We had a poolside room, but unfortunately, that didn’t add much value due to the pool closure. Hoping for a better experience next time."

"We had a good stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was cleaned regularly. Supplies were always restocked promptly from the coffee station to the towels by the pool, which we appreciated.
The only issue was a smell coming from the washroom in our room. It seemed like an old drainage odor. Not a dealbreaker, but niticeable.
Aside from that, everything else was great and well taken care of.

First shout out to Kat on beautifully maintaining this place. I had a chance to speak to both the owners and they’re polite and very caring towards their guests.
