Homemade meals plus desserts are awesome especially the Scottish Short bread with a pinch of dandelion to add another level of flavor.
Water closet is a must see with Lion Claw tub with all the features of yesteryear; just note its a wee high to step in.

. Great view of the mountains. You have to let the water run for quite a while before it turns hot. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear pretty much everything outside and in the rooms next-door. But beyond that, you pull right in front of your door so it’s extremely convenient. We ended up staying a second night because of the proximity of the national park. Great price and...

"Very nice and secluded Lodge and cabins in the Rocky Mountain National Park just above the town of Grand Lake.
Close drive or walk down to the town which is very nice with access to lake activites. Staff and service is quick and friendly. Cabins are small and shower water temps flucuate from time to time but its not hard to manage. Lodge has some of the best food in the area. Lots of people come here to just eat so reservations are recommended. Pool and outdoor fireplace are great features. The...

"We booked a last-minute stay for just one night and ended up wishing we could stay longer. The Chateau is lovely, charming, comfortable, and full of special touches. We wished we could linger at the private bar, enjoyth e delicious hot breakfast, and sip the coffee in the cozy living area. We are already planning our next stay. What a gem in Winter park!"
