10/10 Excellent
"The place is really nice, it’s very clean. I found the valet staff to be exceptional. I would call the place more pet tolerant than pet friendly, only because the nearest place for doggy relief area is about two blocks away."
"Be aware you need to reserve the shuttle to the airport which we didn’t know. By the time we checked in, the shuttle to the airport for the time we needed was already full. Luckily our flight changed and we were able to get on a shuttle at a different time. The light rail is walking distance, which you can take to the airport, but an added cost. It should be more clear on the site the shuttle needs to be booked and can fill up fast. Otherwise great hotel."
"Our first suite was facing the major street (Tower Road) and was very noisy overnight. Didn't get much sleep. The next day we asked to switch to a different room and the staff was real nice and gave us another suite which has less noise.
The room is very roomy. Wish that there's a little table with couple chairs in the living room. The bathroom need more towel racks.
Breakfast only has burritos every morning. Would be nice to have sausages and scrambled eggs. The coffee was very good."
"All the staff were super friendly and kind and greeted us whether we were entering or leaving the hotel. The bed was comfortable and clean. The amenity of the gym was a small selection, and the only issue was the breakfast buffet. The trash was overflowing. He didn’t know which was decaf or regular coffee and the waffle machine didn’t work both days a little dated, but like I noted the staff, they were all amazing."
"Nice standard king room, in very nice condition, clean and well appointed. Old hotel upgraded for all required amenities, very enjoyable. Outdoor lunch and dinner dining during the summer, nice variety of medium to higher priced options, all our choices were well prepared and served. Recommend the locally sourced lamb chops and wild game sliders. Bar service was excellent. Breakfast available in the dining room, or simpler quick options in the coffee/gift shop. Full room service menu. We enjoyed the walking distance around the corner to the Hot Springs Pool and the nicely maintained hotel courtyard with comfortable outdoor seating options. Recommend you try this venerable old hotel."
