Yachats is a small town and though it has little shops like ice cream and a few restaurants there isn't entertainment for kids... except the beaches which most kids will love. Bring an extra layer or two because the ocean keeps things nice and cool.

Yachats is so cute, lots of little, unique shops to visit. Loved that everyone shared local history. Restaurant options vary, but be careful! Loved the proximity to multiple beaches as well. Can't wait to go back!

I recommend the shoreline trail. If you go far enough it leads to beautiful beaches. Also, the Green Salmon Coffee Company was a nice place for breakfast.

Yachats is appropriately named the gem of the Oregon coast. It's a beautiful little town nestled between the coast range and the ocean. There is fine dining available, as well as casual dining. Interesting shops are in the area.

Such a charming little town! We loved the shops, grocery store and restaurants. We brought some amazing seafood take-out from Luna Sea Fish House back to the motel to enjoy on the patio.

Yachats is a nice small town, not a ton of amenities, but great if you want to get away for a day or two for some peace and quiet.

We went sunday thru wednesday and there were really no souvenir shops open 😒 but, the restaurants and people were great!
"Nothing fancy which was just what we were looking for. Cabin was a good size for our family of 4, location was wonderful right on a big sandy beach. The motel had everything we needed with kind and attentive staff, we appreciated the quiet family feel. "
"Love love love this property. The spa was a welcomed addition for us at the end of a days drive along the coast. Beautiful setting on the ocean - would definitely recommend!"
"It’s a nice hotel with a view of the ocean. It is across the street from the ocean but there are no hotels built on the other side in between you and the ocean. When I was there there was construction across the street beginning at 8 AM. I raised that with the staff and they gave me a discount."
"Quick friendly check in. Nice looking property. It would be nice if it was quieter and if there were blackout shades. The birds were loud and so were the street lights."
