"Right in the medina of Sousse! We arrived at night, so walking out in the daytime to realise we were in the middle of a line of stalls was a lovely surprise. The room itself was incredibly clean, which made us feel really comfortable. Go with no expectations, its a simple room with basics that are needed, its clean and does the job. The aircon was fantastic, almost too good that we turned it off at night time when it got a bit cold. Really good location if youre spending a quick day or 2 in Sousse"

"Old hotel deserve only 2 stars not 4 . I booked 3 rooms Rooms ( the room had broken furnitures and the door frames were rotting) In addition, inside the room the bedding and sheets were dirty with blood. The restaurant was not monitored at all..there was no surveillance by the staff. There were many people serving the food with their hands.i forwarded this feedback to management and people on standby but there was no response. They did not provide a key for the safebox in the room either, I could not protect the valuables I had in my room. The all in exclusive was disappointing, the drinks were served in small cups and none of the cold food was stored properly."

"This property is very rundown and not clean . Hair on the floors and on the bath, cigarette burn in the rugs . This hotel is advertised as soundproofed, it is NOT !! We had VERY loud music sounding in our room until 5 am ! "

"Start with the staff: they are fabulous! Your stay begins with a tour of the property - which is located in 3 adjoining buildings. Staff assisted us with parking, which is tricky. You park in a gas station about 8 minutes by foot from the property. She rode with us and spoke to the gas station manager on our behalf. Be mindful that this hotel is in the historic Medina - you can’t drive up to it. We had initially parked on a street 2 bocks outside the city walls. We then moved it to the gas station. My room had a classical North African design - everything was very tasteful, if not a little quirky, which I found endearing. By quirky, e.g., you shower behind a ladder that goes to a loft in my room. My bed was very comfortable. There was a delicious fruit tray waiting for me. The A/C worked pretty well, though in general they struggle in North Africa. I was able to sleep without issue. Breakfast was delicious. It comprised of various Tunisian treats - all fresh. We also had dinner on the rooftop and it was delicious- as well as atmospheric especially during the call to prayer as the sun set. Dar Antonia is 5-10 min away from all the cool sights of the Medina (ribbat, mosque, archaeological museum) and steps away from shopping galore. This place is a 10/10 and a great value in my mind. If I come to Sousse again, there is no doubt that I am staying at the Dar Antonia!"

"Had a really great stay. The lifeguards, waiters and all staff were amazing. So attentive and would do anything for you. Cannot fault any of the food, although appearing as a normal buffet, it is all of immense quality and I cannot fault it. The culinarium experience is also amazing. Everywhere is clean. Only downside is that floors could be very slippy at times but cannot help that!"

"A great hotel with free underground parking, the room is clean and spacious with friendly staff. Special thanks to reception staff including Chayma, Abderrazek and Jamel . Food is decent, highly recommended."
