"Close to everything "

"Great old hotel undergoing renovation. Spectacular position looking over the ocean. Bistro menu was a bit expensive but we enjoyed our meals. Rooms were small and compact: ok for a single night. A few things in the room weren’t quite right - like the fridge in the cupboard being iced up because there was insufficient ventilation. Stay while you can before renovations finish and they start charging gastro pub prices. "

"Nice holiday park with many amenities sadly our visit was short and we couldn't use most. I'd recommend spending a couple days here in warm weather to experience all the park has to offer. May be nice if they offered a discount if youre not using the Waterpark. "

"A friendly person at check in made us feel welcome from the start. Spacious room with a VERY comfortable bed. Great location- a short walk to beach, iconic pub with a fabulous cafe downstairs (offered room service if desired). Despite the convenient spot, it was very quiet. Loved this place! "

"Very clean and comfortable room. No frills, but exactly as advertised. There was a lift up to the room, and the kiosk at the front of the Pub (Woobly Chook) was easy to navigate and get our key dispensed. "

"A conveniently located travel stop in a town with charm. The attached bowling club and restaurant make for an easy evening, but a short walk to the river reveals other good options. Room was spacious, bed was very comfy, bathroom very clean and had all necessary facilities."

"Was reasonably close to the exit from Highway and in a quiet location near freshwater. I just wanted to get as far away from Brisbane as possible and closure of checking in at 10 pm suited me better. "

"It was peaceful, very professionally run with friendly and very helpful staff. Our cabin was well maintained and clean. The natural surroundings are 'to die for' and the convenience of the town and all its services was walkable. We loved our time at Reflections and at Evans Head generally."
