Made a run to downtown Ogden after check--in for some Froyo at Meinchi's. Very nice area with a small-town feel...walkable main street areas close to transit and train station.

i have a small apartment complex in Ogden for many years, since 1989. I saw the freeway go in before the Olympics were held there. The city has grown remarkably but what remains is the overall DECENCY and friendliness of the people.

Lots of options for dining and shopping in the downtown area. We enjoyed our visit.
"Very nice hotel. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Not sure if it was just my room but some of the outlets were not working. Free breakfast was delicious and love that every day is not the same. Restaurant onsite was excellent as well. My server was very friendly and speedy. "
"Great customer service, spacious room that was spottless.
However, the pool's water was green and this was the dirtiest pool we've ever seen.
Morning complimentary breakfast was sparse, by 7am the juices were depleted and would not be refilled as we were told they were out of juice."
