"The staff were very courteous, the restaurant patio was lovely and relaxing, the breakfast buffet was excellent with the best choice of tea I’ve ever seen in a hotel, and the shower was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. And although initially there were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room, once I asked at the front desk, they gave me a kettle and a whole tray of goodies. It was also very easy to get into Old Town Munich via the train. "

"In the middle of a run down, deserted industrial estate, with no other facilities in the area other than a number of lap dancing clubs. On the positive side, only a few minutes walk to the U-bahn on the U2 line with good links to the City and Airport. Maybe a sensible choice if attending the Messe Halles, rather than for tourists."

"The property was in a good location with supermarkets nearby. You can easily reach the public transportation. The room was comfortable except the beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable for our taste. The pillows were also very uncomfortable. The parking in the parking garage was safe and plentiful. We would stay again in this hotel when the opportunity rises."

"Great stay at the Steigenberger. Very accessible as 10 min walk from the Airport Express bus stop at Nordfriedhof, which runs every 20 mins. Also 10 min walk from the U6 station which provides easy access to downtown Munich. Outstanding buffet breakfast, although a bit pricey at 34 Euro pp. Also a great terrace & bar for a drink or easy dinner at the hotel. Would highly recommend."
