"Awesome stay! Very friendly and professional staff from the room cleaning staff and throughout the hotel. Always felt welcomed and staff happy to serve/help in anyway. Ocean view and pools below...great vista. Unfortunately, a little noisy in late hours 2200-2330h a few nights from a particular bar off the hotel grounds but...we travel with ear plugs. Loved our room... luxury. Room service prompt. "
"Wonderful location, you jump into the pool then jump into the ocean. Great bar/restaurant near the pool and a very large breakfast offered. Service was very good, and we will definitely come back.
One thing to note. Laundry facilities is not offered even though listed. They have a laundry service for a high fee."
"I liked the fact the hotel was quiet and tucked out of the way from the hustle and bustle of central Funchal with good views and surrounding scenery. My room was very spacious and comfortable (superior double) and worth every penny. The staff were all very welcoming and most helpful with any requests such as booking taxis or giving advice about local activities and trips. My only slight criticism is that they had no USB charging points in the room but luckily I did bring two adapter plugs with me so was easily able to charge my various devices - plenty of spare sockets in the room."

The hotel’s location is perfect—just a short walk from Funchal’s charming center, yet peaceful and right on the ocean. The views from the rooms and terraces are breathtaking, especially at sunset. We particularly loved the choice of swimming pools: the large sea-water pool with direct access to the ocean was a highlight, while the indoor heated pool provided the perfect retreat in the evenings.
Breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and local specialties. Every meal we had at the hotel was beautifully presented and delicious, with attentive service to match.
